mercelyn is 18 in the first few seasons, she's around 5'7. she has dark hair going down to her waist. long, sharp black nails because they're practical for opening boxes, scratching and for self defense. she also has greyish blue colored eyes. this is how I imagine her:

she was hired as an officer at Bright Moon after bow and glimmer found her wandering around the woods.
she was around 13 when she first came to Bright Moon, but she doesn't really remember her previous life or what happened before she turned 13.
after 5 years she still doesn't fully trust or care that much for the people on the planet, but what keeps her working is the money.
the nickname bow and glimmer give her (merc) is pronounced MERS, not merk.
