Angella started speaking as they were all seated around the table,
"council, we're looking for plans to strengthen our defenses against the Horde. who would like to go first?"
Glimmer's hand shot up immediately, she then desperately tried to get her mom to pick her,
"me, me, me. me. me, me."
Angella sighed,
"who besides Glimmer would like to go first?"
Glimmer stood up anyway and started talking,
"mom-- uh, eugh, your majesty. you should let me, Merc, Bow, and Adora continue our princess recruitment mission! if we can form a new Princess Alliance, The Rebellion would actually stand a chance for once."
"the princesses withdrew from the last alliance. they chose to focus on protecting their own lands." the queen explained, hoping Glimmer would back off.
"so, are we supposed to just... give up? please, let me try." Glimmer pleaded.
"all I'm proposing is a diplomatic mission." she added.
"so, what do you propose?" Angella asked, bored.
Glimmer activated the holographic map of Etheria and started speaking again, explaining her plan,
"anyone approaching Bright Moon by sea needs to pass through the Salineas Sea Gate. it's controlled by Mermista now that her father's retired. with her on our side, the Rebellion could control the seas. we need this alliance with her, mom."
arrows appeared on the map as Glimmer talkes to illustrate her point, after she finished talking, the map vanished.
"the journey is treacherous, Glimmer. I'm not sure." the queen hesitated.
"don't worry, mom. with She-Ra, we can conquer anything!" Glimmer positively stated.
"and, uh, we're also gonna need a boat." Adora added.
"with She-Ra and a boat, we can conquer anything."
"aaand an experienced sea captain." Bow smugly said.
Glimmer made an annoyed yell,
"with She-Ra, a boat, and an experienced sea captain, we can conquer anything." the pink princess glanced at Mercelyn to see if she had anything to say, but she just shrugged and went back to playing with her dagger.
"very well." Angella stated.
Glimmer gasped excitedly,
"yes!"
Glimmer teleported to kiss Angella and hugged her.
"I mean it, Glimmer. no violence, and no collateral damage."
"and Mercelyn, I trust you to make sure she doesn't go disobeying my orders." queen Angella added to her previous statement.
Glimmer teleported the four of them, but before that, she quickly thanked her mom,
"thanks, mom, you won't regret it!"
seaworthy
Merc, Bow, Adora, and Glimmer entered Seaworthy. various Etherians were cheering, drinking, making deals and playing cards.
the archer of the group looked excited. maybe a bit too excited.
"this is so cool. seaworthy is just like I imagined it! everyone here looks like a real pirate!" Bow yelled.
"focus, Bow. we're just here to find a sea captain." Glimmer scolded him and his expression changed quickly.
"no pirates?"
