"good morning, you two." Bow happily woke the two girls up.

"if it was a good morning, I'd have a girlfriend." Mercelyn groaned.

Bow turned away from her and started tapping Glimmer.

"noooo. it's too early. five more minutes." Glimmer groaned as well.

"but it's a beautiful morning." Bow stated.

"but I want a beautiful girlfriend." Mercy added.

the girl stood up and stretched herself out a bit and brushed some grass off of herself. she looked to her left and saw Adora leaning on a tree. she walked up to the blonde and tapped her shoulder, but to her surprise, Adora flinched.

"shit, sorry. it's just me." Mercelyn apologized.

"oh, hey, Mercy."

Mercelyn looked into the distance trying to figure out what Adora was looking at. the girl started to get tired again so she leaned her head on Adora's shoulder. the peace and quiet was quickly interrupted when Glimmer teleported herself and Bow next to them, which startled Adora, making her flinch again. the blonde gasped at the sudden appearance of Bow and Glimmer.

Glimmer apologized as well,
"sorry, too early to teleport."

Adora's gaze was fixed on the forest again.

"whaaat are we looking at?" Bow asked.

"I don't know. I heard a noise in the woods last night. and I thought I saw something."

Glimmer started to mock her,
"what? like a bunny? maybe a butterfly?"

Adora just stared into the distance, ignoring her. Glimmer put a hand on her shoulder, which startled Adora again.

"Adora, did you get any sleep at all?"

"someone has to stand guard." Adora replied.

"baby, you just need to calm down a bit." Mercelyn stated calmly and quietly, not wanting Bow or Glimmer to make a big deal out of the nickname.

"I know you're on edge because of what happened with Entrapta's infected robots, but it's all over now. you've got to relax. you need a vacation. which is why we're going to Mystacor." Glimmer said happily.

Bow gasped excitedly,
"Mystacor? no way."

"fuck. no. I hate that place." Mercelyn moved her body to lean more into Adora's. the blonde wrapped a hand around Merc's waist and asked,
"wait, what's Mystacor?"

"it's a secret floating kingdom that's home to all of Etheria's sorcerers. it's got tranquil gardens, and beautiful beaches and healing springs. and my aunt Castaspella just happens to be the head sorceress there."

"you'll love it Adora. plus you won't have to worry about evil things in the woods. Mystacor is protected by an invisibility spell, so evil can't find it."

"please don't have high expectations." Mercelyn whispered to Adora.

"it's the safest and most peaceful place in all of Etheria. we'll have you relaxing in no time." Glimmer started dragging her, which made Mercelyn stumble a bit.

"you know I've never relaxed in my life, right?" Adora asked Glimmer.

"believe me, Mystacor will just make it worse." Mercy chuckled.

"well, we're here to change that. just wait." Glimmer happily stated.

the four made it to a cliff. Glimmer happily said,
"we're here!"
