Sea Hawk guided the skiff into the forest. Mercelyn, Adora, Perfuma, Glimmer, Bow and Mermista all hung their heads glumly.

Adora asked,
"how could I let this happen?"

"Adora, it's not your fault." Bow reassured her.

"it is my fault. Entrapta's gone because of my plan." the blonde sighed, her voice shaking.

"this only happened because we were all together." Mermista commented.

Perfuma, with tears in her eyes, admitted,
"Mermista's right, being together makes us vulnerable."

"maybe there's a reason the Princess Alliance fell apart before." Mermista stated.

"maybe this whole thing was a bad idea." Mercy added.

Glimmer started shaking her head. "Mermista, Merc, no, you can't say that."

"whatever. I don't want to be a part of it anymore. Sea Hawk, take me home."

Glimmer's eyes widened as she gasped. she looked at Adora and she lowered her gaze. Perfuma clutched her knees to her chest and Glimmer frowned. Merc didn't move from her spot, the only thing she could think about was how this was all her fault. Sea Hawk just drove off to Salineas.

soon after, Mermista rode away to her castle and turned with her trident, as a protective forcefield closed around her. she was enveloped in a swirl of water and disappeared. Perfuma erected the statue to Entrapta and covered it with flowers. her eyes brimmed with tears and she began to sob. princess Frosta used her ice powers, she raised her hands into the air and spears of ice concealed her snowy mountain whole.

sometime later, Adora, Bow, Mercy and Glimmer trudged along on the bridge towards Bright Moon castle.

"oh, Glimmer!" Queen Angella embraced her daughter.

"are you hurt?" the mother asked.

"mom, you're crushing me." Glimmer groaned. Bow joined the hug whilst laughing.

Glimmer grumbled again,
"mom, I'm fine, cut it out!"

"I will not cut it out. I've been beside myself with worry."

Angella noticed Glimmer didn't teleport out of her hug,
"you usually teleport out of my embraces. what's going on?"

"nothing, I just need to recharge. that's all." Glimmer made up an excuse.

"of course. guards, carry my daughter to the Moonstone Chamber at once."

"I don't need to be carried, I can walk. you're embarrassing me." Glimmer quietly stated.

"fine. then you have time to tell me what happened. I received word of... Entrapta's loss." the four friends lookrd away and didn't respond to Angella's statement.

"well, Glimmer? Bow? Mercelyn? Adora? someone tell me what happened." Angella demanded.

"commander, it's my fault." Adora talked.

"the thing is..." Bow spoke over her.

"this all happened because of me." Merc added on. it all just turned into a completely inaudible sentence.

"leave my friends alone! give us a minute." Glimmer demanded.

"a minute? you were being held by the Horde. I've been going mad. telling myself awful stories about what could've happened to you." the queen admitted.
