"hey, we made it." Bow said.

"whoa." Adora sighed.

"welcome to Bright Moon." Glimmer gestured while being on the horse.

"it's so beautiful." Adora complimented their home.

"okay, I just need to go in there, recharge, and deal with my mom." Glimmer groaned.

"this'll be fun." Merc sarcastically stated.

"uh, Merc, Bow? maybe we should take Adora in the back way?"

"hell. no." Mercelyn firmly said.

Adora asksd curiously,
"what's the back way?"

poor girl doesn't know what's coming.

"this is the back way?" Adora asked as she finished climbing the rope.

"it might seem weird, but we totally come in this way all the time." Bow reassured her.

"oh! hey, here. why don't you put this robe on? no reason." Bow threw a pink robe onto her head, clearly trying to hide.

"you're trying to hide her." Mercelyn pointed out the very obvious lie.

Bow's voice started cracking,
"what? no!"
a few minutes went by and Bow was opening and closing the door.

over.

and over.

and over again.

it never ends.

"okay, I get it. I'm guessing the people of Bright Moon are gonna be a little less welcoming of a Horde soldier than you led me to believe." Adora accepted the fact that she won't be liked.

"maybe a little." Bow hesitantly replied.

Adora asked curiously,
"how little?"

"think... pitchforks and torches." Mercelyn answered. Adora groaned at her reply.

"it's just that the people of Bright Moon have been really hurt by the Horde. everyone here has lost someone in the war. you can't blame them for being a little suspicious." the archer put a hand on Adora's shoulder while kneeling down to her level as she sat on Glimmer's pink couch that was pressed up against the window.

"oh, I'm sorry." she apologized.

"no, it's not your fault, you didn't know." Merc tried to comfort the ex-Horde soldier the best of her abilities.

"once they get to know you, the people of Bright Moon are going to trust you just like Glimmer, Merc and I already-" Bow shrieked as Glimmer appeared next to him.

"I'm here! okay, my mom's on her way, but no one panic."

"what?!" Adora asked, terrified.

Glimmer shouted again,
"I said no one panic!"

"don't worry, she'll love you. all you have to do is use the sword to transform into She-Ra before she gets here." Glimmer tried to convince Adora.

"wait, we're jumping straight to She-Ra with your mom? are you sure?" Mercelyn asked.

"yeah, I don't think my mom is going to buy, "hey mom, we found a Horde soldier. can we keep her?"."

"Glimmer, I don't think we can keep her. she's a person." the Bright Moon officer stated, pointing out that Adora wasn't an animal.

"my mom is gonna love She-Ra. we can ease her into the Horde stuff later." Glimmer confidently said.
