I spent two days at home before going back to school. We were given a week to prepare for a math test, which meant spending the weekend studying. Usually, I wouldn't say I like the idea, but studying means spending time with my boyfriend, who is much better at the subject than me. So after school, he went to practice, and I went home to pack a bag for the weekend. Mom was already home, working on some project in the office she had made from a spare room.

"Are you staying at Daichi's all weekend?" She asked from inside the room while I looked through the pile of washed clothes on the living room table.

"Yeah. He's helping me study for the test next week."

I grabbed a couple of socks, some underwear and some comfortable bras and stuffed them into a gym bag.

"Make sure you study math and not each other." She grinned from her position in the door.

"We'll try," I smirked back and walked into my room.

I looked at my makeup purse and contemplated taking it with me. Would I need it? It was just a weekend of staying home and studying. I decided to bring it just in case and didn't notice mom entering and sitting on my bed.

"Your dad called," I hummed at her, "He said you've been ignoring his calls."

I stopped for a second but continued the packing, hurrying it up.

"I haven't really had anything to say."

Mom sighed and tilted her head to the side as she leaned back on her palms, "Ignoring him won't make him disappear."

"Yeah, well, it's worked perfectly fine until now." I closed my closet doors and threw my bag over my shoulder. She followed me into the hallway, watching me as I slipped on my shoes.

"Y/n, your father loves you. If you talk to him, I'm sure he'll understand."

I snickered, "Him understanding? Have you forgotten why you divorced him?"

Mom sighed, "You know he's not going to stop calling?"

I pushed open the front door and looked back at her, "I'll ignore him till he does."

We chose to spend Friday as a rest day and start studying tomorrow. Daichi's parents were out of town, so we had the house for ourselves. He made a fantastic dinner which he, of course, finished with an amazing dessert. We made a quick trip to the store nearby to buy some snacks, and now we were finally rooted in front of the tv, watching a movie.

My phone vibrated in my pocket, and I pulled it out to look at the screen. It was a notification from Instagram. I opened it and saw that Kuroo was sending me a message which I only left unanswered and went back to watching the film.

During the movie, it continued to vibrate until I put it on flight mode. Daichi was curious about who was texting me, but I just told him it was my family group chat. He eventually stopped asking and pulled me closer to him.

"Just take whatever towels are left under the sink," Daichi said as I brought out my shower essentials from my bag.

"Okay, thanks."

I saw a new notification pop up but ignored it again and threw my phone on the bed before going to the bathroom. Daichi's shower had stone on the floor, almost giving me a massage as I stepped inside. The walls were white tiles which were very shiny, most likely from his mother's excessive cleaning. I giggled at the thought of her scrubbing away at the tiles weekly.

As I stepped out, my skin had red spots, and the mirror was fogged. I dried my skin and put on my underwear before doing my nighttime routine. When I was done, I put my towel to dry, brushed my hair and stepped out to go back to Daichi's bedroom.

He sat in his bed, scrolling through his phone as I entered. I put away my things when he suddenly asked, "How long has Kuroo been bothering you?"

I stopped mid-action, "What?"

"I saw his messages. How long has it been going on?"

I sighed and walked over to sit on the bed. "The messaging started today, but he has been a dick since we met at the party."

Daichi moved his hands to mine, stroking them, "why didn't you say anything?"

"I thought that maybe he'd stop. And I didn't want to ruin your friendship if it was just a one-time thing."

"Y/n," his voice was low; he placed his hand on my jaw and turned me to look at him, "I will always put you first. If anyone treats you like that, I'd never want them as friends."

"Don't make this about me. He was a shitty friend to you. I'm sorry you had to go through that."

He smiled and slid his thumb over my cheek, "Thanks." We shared a kiss and lay down.

"How did you see the messages, though?"

"Your phone was constantly vibrating, so when I went to turn it off, I saw what they said. Plus, I'm pretty sure he sent you a picture."

I gaped a bit, "really?"

He reached over to me and took my phone from the nightstand, "open them." I saw the slight smirk on his face, so I did as he said and saw all the shit he had spammed me. We read through all of them, and at the bottom was an attached photo. I glanced at Daichi, seeing him nod at me to open it. I sighed and closed my eyes before clicking it "is it safe to see?" I asked, still with my eyes closed.

"Yup."

When I opened them, there was a picture of Kuroo standing in a door, leaning forward with his hand above the frame and a towel hanging around his hips, taking a picture in the mirror. I burst out laughing, dropping my phone on the mattress.

"He actually thinks he's got a chance," Daichi commented and chuckled as I calmed myself down. I rolled over to my back and stroked my hand over his chest, "He's fucking delusional."

Daichi grabbed myphone and took a selfie while flashing his middle finger. I giggled and watchedas he typed, ' She doesn't want you, bitch. '
