CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
To be honest, I was extremely anxious. To go out, to see an old friend. I wondered how weird it would be, or if it would be like nothing has changed, even though everything has. I could feel a lump in my throat as I exited the cab. Swallowing, I gripped my see through sparkling mini skirt and pulled it down, standing to my feet in my heels.
"Thank you," I told the driver. He nodded in appreciation and drove up, leaving me in front of the large hotel. I looked up and it looked like the building didn't stop. It was all black, with large windows clad all over the building. It said 'Hotel Elite' right at the top. I then sent a text to Olivia that simply said 'here'. I awkwardly walked into the lobby and was met with intense stares from elderly women and obvious checking out from the men. I scoffed and took a seat on one of the white couches so I could wait for Olivia. It was very fancy in here. The chandeliers were stunning and the lobby was huge, the tiles on the floor were white and marble.
"Val!" I heard an excited squeak behind me. I turned and saw Olivia sporting the tightest tube red dress with matching red lips. Her long hair was straightened and pushed to the side. She jumped up down giddily, her tits bouncing. I thought they would've fell out.
She was definitely blessed in that area--I was not.
I was also staring. Very hard. Oops.
"You look hot as fuck." That was all I could manage. Olivia gave a wink and turned around playfully, giving me a view of the dress that barely covered her ass. She didn't change, at all. The only thing was her hair was darker--dyed black, I could tell.
"Good, I'm trying to get laid," she said, with a mischievous smile.
"And I'm trying to get drunk," I replied. I definitely didn't know if I'll get laid. Standing up, I reached over to give her a hug. She wrapped me in her arms so tight I almost lost my breath, rocking me back and forth tightly. She smelled like expensive perfume and mint. I hugged her back, tightly. I really needed that hug.
"I'm so happy to see you, you're just the person I needed to see. I'm so over Cali, ugh. I needed to be back home for a bit." She broke the hug and pulled out her phone from the silver purse at her side.
"Just came to visit?" I questioned.
"I'll be here for a couple days. I'm doing a show here, but I missed home so I wanted to stay for longer. Originally, I was going to come for like a weekend, but where's the fun in that? Summer in New York is always the best, duh." She put her phone away and smiled. "Our cab will be here in two minutes."
"A show?" I tilted my head.
"A fashion show! Oh my gosh, I have to tell you all about it. You have to come! Ah! Life's been so crazy." Olivia ran her hands through her hair and I couldn't help but smile at her. She was just so bright, it almost made me forget everything that had been happening.
"I'm happy for you," I said, genuinely. I held her hand and gave a squeeze. I knew she wanted to be a model and she was finally chasing her dreams. She gave me a big smile and began to pull me outside.
"Let's go get fucked up!" She exclaimed, excitedly.
