Ok I feel like this one needs a bit of context

So this takes place in real life with the only difference being people are like cool and stuff?? Anyway bad and skeppy specifically are like their Minecraft skins, bad being a demon and skeppy being part diamond.

[3rd person pov]

Skeppy was in the kitchen of his and bad's shared apartment, making dinner. Bad was getting home from work soon, he worked as a security guard for some fancy casino. Skeppy had decided to prepare steak and mashed potatoes, Bad's favorite meal. He wanted bad to have a nice meal when he got home, as his work can often be hard on him. And he'd be lying if he said the smile on the older man's face when skeppy cooked for him didn't make happy.

He had just finished preparing dinner and setting the table when he heard the door open. He turned to greet the demon, but could only gasp upon seeing him.

Bad's wings were badly damaged. Covered in tears and dirt. They looked barely usable, like a building long deserted. He carried a simple, melancholy, expression.

"Hey skeppy.."

The diamond ran up to him, engulfing him in a tight hug. This startled bad. "Are you okay? Who did this to you?!" Skeppy screeched, concerned.
"Oh, it's nothing bad." He uttered in response, clearly lying.
Skeppy knew he was withholding something from him, but decided to not push. He just led bad to the table for a nice dinner. It was more quiet than usual. Most of the time, they talk and laugh. But tonight, it was just silence. The only sound heard was the scraping of cutlery and the 2 boys' chewing.

//time skip: 4 hours later//

It was around 9pm, and bad was getting ready for bed. Skeppy creaked open bad's bedroom door, and peaked in. He muttered a quiet "Bad..?". "Yes skeppy?" The demon asked in response. Skeppy walked in, and sat next to him on the bed.
"What happened today? Please tell me, I hate to see you so distraught and want to help."

Bad took a moment to say anything. He sighed, and explained the events of that day. "I was at work like normal, when a group of people walked up. I asked for their ids, and they suddenly got really aggressive. I think they were underage. I told them to leave, and.. they" he paused, his eyes tearing up. "They attacked me. Tore my wings with their claws, kicked me, pushed me to the ground. I didn't think they'd be able to overpower me like that, but they did."

Skeppy wanted to wring the throats of whoever those rotten teenagers were. But he knew it wasn't worth it. "I'm sorry that happened bad, do you need me to look at your wings to see if anything needs medical attention?" He questioned.
"No, I already got them looked at." Bad ended his sentence there, and usually skeppy would've just accepted the answer and left, but something didn't feel right. Bad didn't seem like himself.

"Are you ok bad..?" He pondered, looking the demon in the eyes. Bad opened his mouth to answer, but no words came out. He couldn't muster up anything. After a few seconds, he just.. broke down.

Skeppy quickly scooted closer to him, rubbing circles in the crying man's back. "S-sorry" bad sobbed out. "You don't need to apologize bad. I want to help you, please talk to me."

Bad took a second to gather his thoughts, still crying. "I.. I'm even uglier than before now" he whispered, crying harder. Skeppy's eyes widened.

Ugly?

"What are you talking about? You're not ugly!" Skeppy stated.
"Hah, thanks. But I know you're just saying that to make me feel better."
"Why would I lie to you bad? I'm not! You're.. beautiful.." skeppy uttered that last bit, flustered.

The demon's cheeks warmed up. "beautiful?" He questioned, locking eyes with the diamond. They were both flustered messes. "Yeah.. beautiful. Gorgeous. Handsome. Stunning." Skeppy replied, smiling.

Bad pauses for a second, before his eyes softened.

"... I think you're beautiful too, skeppy."
