[Skeppy's pov]

Holy shit. Today's the day! The day I finally get to see my best friend!

It's been over 4 years that we've been friends. Bad and I kept putting it off and putting it off.

I don't know exactly what bad's reasons have been, but all of my rescheduling has just been because I'm nervous.

He's my best friend! But he's also the man I'm.. in love with.

Yep, that's right, my dumbass stumbled straight into a fanfic plot line. But it's fine. I've been able to keep my feelings under wraps for years, it's not like I won't be able to in person.

And besides, both me and bad have soulmates to meet! I have no time for stupid puppy love. Even if there's a part of me that's praying bad is my soulmate.

I grab my suitcase and backpack, throwing them in the trunk before walking back inside to put Rocco's leash on him and lead him into the backseat.

I do one final check of the house to make sure all the lights are off, all the electronics are unplugged, and everything's locked.

Walking back out of the house, I lock the front door behind me. I get into my car, turning the key in the ignition.

First, I make a quick stop over to my mom's house and drop off Rocco and all his stuff. I wish I could've brought him with, but it's just not in the cards for this trip.

I hug my mom goodbye, before heading off to the airport. Once I get there, I drive into the car storage lot.

(A/N: if you don't know what that is, it's a service some airports offer where they keep your car in a special parking area for a fee until you get back)

I grab my bags from the back, and hand my spare key to the valet.

I take a deep breath in. Let's do this.

The process through the airport is long and tedious. Long security lines, check in, security checks, and walking allll the way to my gate.

I look at my ticket to make sure I'm at the right place.

"Yep. Gate 69." I mumble to myself.

Before I sit down, I walk over to a McDonald's restaurant to grab something to munch on while I wait.

I grab a water bottle and a burger, then drag all my stuff to the lobby of my gate and take a seat.

I almost doze off but am startled to reality by the intercom.

"Gate 69 now boarding. First class please come up to the counter."

That's me!

I quickly toss my trash and walk into line. I get to the desk and hand the lady my ticket, and she types my info into the machine.

"Alright sir! You're good to go. Have a nice flight!" She smiles.

I thank her and carry myself through that weird tunnel they connect to the plane, finding my seat and settling down.
