Third Person's POV
After spending two whole weeks finding a suitable and perfect school for Rhea and getting all the paperwork done, the first day of school for Rhea was finally here. Rhea was usually more moody this morning as compared to others. She took an extra long time to finish breakfast and get ready than usual. She just wanted to delay everything so she could skip the school.
But her luck wasn't that good because Akshara was their to make sure she's ready for the first day of her school. This time, even her cute pleading eyes didn't work in front of her father.
"Papa?" Rhea tried to get his attention as he was busy driving the car while Akshara was sitting on the passenger's seat.
"I'm your princess, right?" she asked, and he looked at her from the front mirror and nodded.
"Then why are you making me go to school? Princesses don't go to school. Have you ever seen Cinderella, snow white or rapunzel going to school?" she asked, and he couldn't help but shook his head with a light chuckle as Akshara laughed.
"Even Anna and Elsa were kept locked inside their home until they were big." she whined.
"True... Because Elsa had magic powers. And you don't!" he replied with a smile.
"That's not fair!" she pouted.
"God! You should stop watching these Disney movies." Abhimanyu told her.
"Then how will I know who's my prince is charming? Watching Disney gives me hints." she said, and Abhimanyu's eyes widened in shock.
"Oh, Rhea.... You're so cute!" Akshara exclaimed as she turned around in her seat and gently pulled Rhea's cheeks.
"There's nothing cute about it!" he looked at Akshara for a split second, and she frowned at him.
"And Rhea, you're too young to think about Prince Charming!" he told her.
"Why?" A crease appeared on her forehead.
"Forget it, young girl! You aren't dating until you're thirty." he said sternly, and Akshara smiled at his over-protectiveness.
"Thirty? I'll be old then. And why does Akshara get to date you when she is not even thirty?" she said, making both Akshara and Abhimanyu shocked at her question.
"Rhee, umm... we're not..." Before Abhimanyu could complete, Rhea cut him off.
"Anyways, my prince charming will come and take me away from you." she smirked.
"He'll have to go through me first." Abhimanyu said.
"Haven't you seen movies, Papa? It's the prince who always wins, and the evil monster dies." Rhea said dramatically, flipping her hair.
"Did you just call me an evil monster?" he asked with wide eyes, and Akshara laughed out loud.
Abhimanyu couldn't help but smile seeing Akshara laughing her heart out. This was the first time she had been really being herself since he brought her home. It made him feel less guilty to see her finally coming back to life slowly.
"Yeah, you might be akshu's prince charming, but you're an evil monster in my story." Rhea laughed mischievously. Both Akshara and Abhimanyu felt blood rushing through their cheeks. They took a glance at each other and quickly looked away, suppressing their smiles.
Few more minutes into the drive, and they finally reached the school. Both Abhimanyu and Akshara made their way to the principal's office along with Rhea.
"Morning, Mrs. Chopra!" Abhimanyu greeted the old lady.
"Good morning, Mr and Mrs. Birla." she returned the same gesture.
