Ravi approached the familiar house of Pip's., holding a dandelion and tulip bouquet in one hand- and a sign in the other.
this was it.
He knocked on the door.

A heavy set of footsteps approached the door, and as it creaked open Ravi met with the familiar eyes of Pip's dad, Victor.
"You ready big man?" He whispered, placing a strong hand on Ravi's shoulder.
Ravi thought for a second- trying to comprehend fully on what he was about to do- but he eventually, he nodded his head yes with a smile and stepped into the warm, lavender smelling home.
"She's upstairs." Victor said with a smile.
Ravi inhaled, then exhaled strongly.

RAVI's POV..
I walked up the wooden steps, slowly getting up to Pip's room. I heard the loud clicking of her keyboard,
she must be working on schoolwork.
I looked at her door, nervousness filling my entire body.
I knocked slightly on the door,
"Pip?"
I walked in, and she turned in her chair looking at me.
She went from happy, to confused, to realization.
"Ravi-?"
I laughed, stepping closer to her now.
"Y-yeah I know it's crazy but.."
silence.
Silence filled the room- I couldn't find the right words to say. I looked into her brown eyes, and just like that- the words came back to me.
"I didn't- I didn't go as a senior. And I know it's a once in a life time..- well twice in a life time thing if you include junior prom but- Pip will you go to prom with me?"
She stared at me, the back at the flowers and sign in my hand. I held up the sign a bit higher and shook it a bit with a smile.
Her eyes lit up and she returned the smile, walking to me and going in for a hug.
"yes. a thousand times yes."
A wave of relief rushed over my body as I went to burry my head into the crook of her neck. Taking in the scent that was my home.
Our home.
I stepped back and looked at her, my hand still attached to her waist, and her arms still wrapped around my neck.
"Well i guess we better pick us out a matching dress and suit."
She laughed, and nodded.
"I say a royal blue, because of course I look ravishing in any shade of blue." I said with a smirk, looking at her.
She rolled her eyes.
"Ravi, you look ravishing in any color."
