"Ravi look at all the flowers!!" I said, pressing my index finger against the car window repeatedly and pointing to the field of Dahlia's on the side of the road.
Ravi turned his head whilst driving, first looking at me then following to where my eyes were.
Then, unexpectedly, the car came to a stop as Ravi pulled over onto the side of the road.
I turned my head, now looking at Ravi with a confused look on my face.
"hey why did you stop?"
"a pretty girl needs her pretty flowers" Ravi said while stepping out of our now shared car.
Excitement filled my body and a smile bloomed across my face as I watched the boy, who I had been in love with for what felt like forever, cross the somewhat busy road to reach the field of flowers.
After plucking a couple of flowers that he definitely inspected to make sure they were perfect, Ravi crossed the road again and got into the car, handing me the flowers.
My face heated up as yet another smile grew across my face. The flowers were even prettier up close.
"Aw. Thank you thank you Ravi!!" I said, leaning across the console to give the boy a kiss on the lips.
"Anything for my Pip."
