"and then we said goodbye" I sighed, laying back down on my bed.
"Okay, great story, let's go" she said.
I huffed and got up. I was kinda tired from school but also excited. I grabbed my phone and money before exiting the door.
We got in my car and drove off.
"Are you nervous?" Kale asked, applying dark red lipstick on her lips. Which she could pull off because she is Latino. Her hair is perfect, her ass is perfect, her lips are perfect. Not that I was looking or anything.
"Um, I guess" I chuckled. I kept my eyes on the road. The mall was only
a little bit away. I ran my fingers through my thick, short hair. I probably should've done something with it before I left.
"Do you like him? she asked, making me take my eyes off the road for a quick second.
"No, I think he just makes me nervous because I'm not really use to new people" I admit.
"You want to make a good impression?" Kale asked.
I nodded and turn onto the street of the
mall. I turned into the mall parking lot and found a parking space. We both got out and grabbed our things.
We started walking to the mall, hand in hand. It was a best friend thing, we promise.
When we reached the entrance, we spotted Cody and Ty by the food
court. They were laughing so that's a good sign. Right?
As we approached them I noticed Cody's eyes lingering away. I tried not not to let it bother me, but I have my ways. I kept my eyes on my shoes before breathing in and out.
"Naomi" Ty sang, lifting my chin. I tried my best not to smile but eventually couldn't contain myself.
"Stop" I laughed, and hit his chest. He started laughing with me.
"Me and Cody will go get us food" Kale said, grabbing Cody's wrist and dragging him behind her.
"So guest what?" Ty teased, shaking my shoulders. He was way taller than me. I had to look up to even talk to him.
"What?" I smiled.
"Taylor's coming"
"What? When?!""
"Now" he said, spinning me around so I was facing the entrance. Taylor is looking around for us at the front. The first thing she notices is Ty. She jumps as she waves to Ty.
Her eyes have to travel downwards in order to even reach my body. Onle they do she starts running to me. I smile and hug her back as she hugged me.
"I haven't seen you in forever!" she said, pulling back. I nodded my head agreeing with her.
"I know right!"
She steps back and looks at Tyler. She smiles, but doesn't move forward. He starts smiling with her, his arms snaking out and pulling her towards him before having a full make out session in the middle of the mall.
"You two make me sick" I said, half lying half being serious. I walked around them and walked over to where Cody and Kale were sitting. Ty and Taylor are literally goals. I sat down beside Kale and sighed.
"What?" she asked.
"I want a boyfriend" I pouted.
She rolled her eyes at me and turned towards Cody. They started talking about if he has a girlfriend or not. And if he likes anyone. I kinda zoned out until Kale asked,
"Do you have you eyes on anybody paticular?"
"Yea, I guess." he smiled, biting on his lip ring. When I said he bothered me before, just kidding. This bothered me a lot. I turned around to see was taking Ty and Taylor so long. I saw they were on there way over here. (Thank God) Taylor and Ty stood beside the table.
"Everyone ready to go shopping?" Taylor asked, excitedly. I couldn't tell how fucking great she looked till now. She was wearing a short flown plain black dress with a cardigan. I think it looks adorable.
"Yeah." Kale smiled, getting up out her seat.
We started shopping in urban outfitters trying to look for outfits for tomorrow. Kale said she was going to invite everyone over to her house because Taylor only here for this one weekend. She lives in the town over; her and Tyler met at a school he used to go to.
"I think we just might go swimming" Kale added, winking at us.
We all started looking for bathing suits. I would love to see Cody in his. I found a strapless peach one with black linings.When we all found one, Ty and Cody came back with their shopping bags.
"Were just gonna go try these on" Tay said, walking towards the fitting rooms.
"We don't mind waiting" Ty said.
We all got a fitting room and tried on our bathing suits. I put on my bottoms which were just black. I turned around to see my butt looked good.
I put on my top but the back need to be snapped on. I peeked my head outside and laughed when I only saw Cody.
"Hey, do you mind helping me with the back of my swim suit" I asked him.
He nodded and made his way toward my stall. When he got in I turned around. I looked in the mirror at him clicking on the strap. He looked up when he finished, our eyes locking through the mirror.
I turned around and asked, "Do you like it? Is it like too bright?"
"No" he chuckled. "It's perfect"
I nodded and turned back around. He slipped out through the curtains. I changed back to my regular clothes.
When I finish everyone was ready to go home.
