The nights pass by fast and I woke up later then meant to. I was just really tired, of everything. I woke up around noon and everyone was already awake. I looked like trash walking down the stairs and meeting them all at the bottom. Tyler was the first to approach me.
"Good morning" he told me, ruffling my hair, which was probably already messed up. Ijust laughed even though I was highly annoyed.
"What should we do today?" Kale asked.
"Well we already went to the mall so lets chill by the hot tub" Taylor suggested. I nodded and so did everyone else. We all agreed and got changed. I put on an all black swimsuit with black bottoms. I brought a towel I found in one of the closets and went to the pool.
It was really cold so I got in right away. Soon enough, I was joined by everyone. Cody right across from me and me sitting in between Taylor and Kale. I felt comfortable between them. I knew they would occasionally talk to me so I didn't look like a loser. And also I could look at peoples feet through the water, so that's pretty cool.
I saw Kale get out of her seat and go back into the house. I followed her even though I already knew she was turning on music. She turned on the music and went to go back outside, before noticing me. She raised her eyebrows at the sight of me and then they went back down, she had a worried look on her face.
"Are you okay?" she asked. I nodded and started to speak before she cut me off.
"What happened with you and Cody, you guys haven't talked ever since you.. Did you guys get in a fight?" she asked. Thankfully the music was loud enough would hear me unless I shouted.
"Yeah, but now i'm all alone and its not even like i'm even alone in that department, Rachael's keeping him great company." I told her, sarcasm dripping out of my voice.
"I'll talk to you and ill tell Drew to too, okay?" she asked. I nodded. "And if you ever feel uncomfortable, just tap me and ill make up some excuse to get the hell out of here"
I smiled and thanked her as we both went back to the hot tub. Both of us were basically running because it was freezing. When we got there the whole group was laughing, me and Kale made awkward eye contact, then joined them.
The day went by fastish slowish and it was like we were having our own small little pool party. Cody and Rachael have been talking this whole time. Literally the whole entire time. Drew and I always get little chit chats in when Kale leaves. He tells me how nervous he is and that he's in water or he's pretty sure we would all notice how sweaty his hands are.
This little crush he has on Kale is adorable. Well there' one thing I hope turns out good on this trip. And there's the other which is already perfect, the two T's, which ive known since at least age 10. They've been dating for so long and there still happy.
Over the speakers, I heard 5sos playing. Catch fire my favorite song off the album.

The lyrics to this song just got me in my feels. Luke Hemmings voice doesn't make it any better.
I sang to every lyric in the songs that were playing. Safety Pin came on and all of a sudden I had an idea I had an idea.
"what are we doing tonight?" I whispered, in Kales ear. She looked at me and gave me a weird face and shrugged. "Well lets have a talent show"
She laughed and then waited for a second, "That would actually be really fun"
I nodded my head, thinking about how much of a genius I am. Soon everyone was getting tired it was around 8 o clock and it was getting dark outside. Kale got out and turned the music down but not all the way.
That encourage them all to go back inside. I stayed outside for a little longer because Vapor just came on and I am ready for it. I heard footsteps and turned back around to see Cody running towards me. I turned back around and then noticed the t-shirt, sunglasses, and phone still left on the side of the hot tub.
When he went to grab it I said, "Forgot your stuff?"
"Yeah" he smiled, the smiles he gives our teachers. The one where he doesn't look them in the eyes but still smiles even when he is getting annoyed.
"Why do you have sunglasses?" I asked.
"Oh, I don't know. Its winter" he said, picking them up and putting them in his shirt. He walked back out but stopped.
"I don't want to be mad at you."
"Then don't be" I told him.
He just shrugged and looked down, walking back to the house. The girl who cried wolf dramatically playing in the background. I would honestly laugh at this if I found it just a little bit funnier.
I slowly went in the house and went to get changed, just like the rest of them. I took a shower and washed my hair before getting dressed. I put a pair of comfy shorts and a huge sweatshirt, the same one I had on this morning.
I brushed out my now wavy hair and put it in a ponytail. I could still hear Broken Home playing from downstairs. I followed the music and went downstairs. Almost everyone was downstairs and Kale said, "We should have a talent show"
They all eagerly agreed and I said aloud, "Since there's 7 of us, ill be judge to make it even"
They all looked me and nodded getting into groups of 2 while I sat on the couch ready to be entertained. (Honestly it was an excuse to get to look at Cody for a couple minutes) but I was also in a mood to laugh.
