Cody asked me to go on this 'date' this Saturday. Ever since then we've been texting and talking a lot lately. Every night since, he's been calling me on the phone and just being really cute about himself. During school he acts normal around me and talks about school and how Mr. Phillips class is hard.

All week this stupid date is the only thing I've been thinking about. But other than that Kales been going on and on about how much of an ass her brothers been.

Her brother and I used to date. His name is Ryan, we broke up because he cheated on me. He's three years older than me and Kale. I was young and stupid. I lost my virginity to him and gave him my heart, literally everything.

It turned out that he was just a huge fucking dick who did it because of a dare. After he took my virginity he got up and said, "That's all I wanted" I never cried so much in my life.

Today, when I go over to Kale's I'm going to try my absolute best to avoid him. I know it will be hard but I know I have to do it. When I drove over I couldn't take my mind off the fact that her stupid brother was going to be there.

When I got there, I knocked on her door my foot tapping impatiently.

The door opened and I was soon met with a face that I had nothing but hatred for. I kept my eyes on the floor and tried to get past him. His arm stopped my way but I quickly ducked under him. He grabbed my arm and turned me around.

"What?" I whined.

"Don't whine sweetheart, it makes you look needy" he said.

I rolled my eyes and made my way up to Kale's room. I knocked on her door before opening it.

"Knock knock" I smiled.

"Hey there stranger" she smiled back.

I looked around he room and saw that she had an outfit picked out on the bed. There lay a pair of black leggings and a nice laced white shirt and a long grey cardigan. She nodded, encouraging me to try it on. Once I did I looked in the mirror and was satisfied so Kale started to do my makeup.

Kale wants to major in cosmetology because she amazing in makeup. After she finished my makeup, she did my hair. She put half my hair up in a bun and the other half down.

"Do you like it?"

I nodded and hugged her. "Yeah I like it a lot, thank you so much."

The doorbell rang and my heart froze. I put on my white converse before following behind Kale who was already at the door.

"Okay, you two have fun!" she said, pushing me out and shutting the door.

Cody and I just laughed as he lead me to his car. He opened up my door for me and helped me get in before running around to his side.

Once he got in and started the car, he drove off. It was silent for a little while before I asked, "Can you tell me where we're going?"

"Um, I think we're here" he said. I looked around. We were at a small pizza diner.

"You think?" I asked, curiously.

"Yea. I was kinda nervous about this. So I asked Ty to help and he said he had 'everything under control' and well, he left me this" he said, handing me a note.

I laughed and nodded, "okay then."

He got out and came to my side, helping me out as well. We made our way to the entrance. When we went in we were met by a waitress.

"Right this way" she smiled.

She led us to a small booth in the back. We both sat down across from each other. The place wasn't very crowded, at all. There were about three other families or couples there.

"Oh look" Cody said, picking up another note off the table.

"Tell each other about your family. Then tell each other about yourselves and explain the other person in one word" he read aloud.

"Let's do the last one first" I said.

"Okay. One word that describes Naomi. I'd say creative, just to be on the nice say."

"Thank you, I guess. I guess the one word that describes you is mysterious. I mean you haven't told me one thing about yourself."

"I like you. Is that enough?" he said, scooting closer to me. Shooting me a cheesy, really cute/hot smile.

"For now" I laughed and scooted closer to him as well. Now were sitting right beside each other.

He wrapped his arm around my waist. I gasped from his cold touch. He chuckled before biting his lip and leaning in. His lips slightly touching my ear before whispering,

"Good"
