Chapter 1

Ashton's POV

"I love you."

"No, I love you more."

"No. I love you more."

"Their sweet talk literally kills me." I whisper to Shaylin who was sitting beside me, looking at Sky and Calum continuing to just ramble on and on. Shaylin is the only person, aside from Luke who knew I have the biggest crush on Sky. I've learnt to accept it but it still kills me inside whenever they get all cuddly together.

"Ugh. You don't even know half of it." She replies, sighing. Me and Shaylin have been close friends with Skyler but Ms. Taylor Swift and her best friend just always seem to push her away from me uh, I mean us because she's popular and can't hang out with us nerds. Even though we're all just people.

What's the best friend's name you ask? Samantha Waffles. She thinks she's so cool that she never says her real last name and always uses Waffles. It's so bad that I don't even know her real last name to be honest.

They always push Sky away from us so they could all 'hang' or whatever it is.

Oh, and if you're wondering why Calum and Sky are being all lovey dovey. It's because Calum is going to be gone for a few days to go for this football competition thing called NFA or NSA depends where you're from. It stands for the National Football/Soccer Association. Calum and his little crew that he calls a team are going there to compete and now is the time that he'll need to leave.

They exchange final goodbyes when Calum's coach had to pry him off Skyler and I swear she shed a tear then. "Aw. Skyler, babe, don't cry." Samantha coos with me not able to hold back a snicker. She sent death glares at me for doing so.

"OMFG Sky. Is that Irwin guy annoying you?" Taylor asks, from behind Sky. Causing my eyes to widen and my jaw to drop.

"We're just joking around. Chill Tay." Skyler reassures. Making Taylor sneer.

"Whatever Sky. I'll be seeing you later." She finishes before sashaying away.

"That girl has an attitude." Skyler sighs, turning round to face us. "Yeah."

"We should head to tutor." Or home room. Whatever you people call it. I tell everyone but a look of disbelief crosses over their faces which makes them pull out their phones to check the time. This school is strange. No bells and you just need to check when lessons start. "Ash's got a point. I'll see you both later for English." Shaylin says giving us both a hug before leaving to go to tutor. "Let's go to Mr. Adam class." Skyler tells me. Linking our arms together playfully. I flinch slightly from the contact but relax when I realise it was just Sky.

"Good morning Luke."
"Morning."
"Good morning Audrey."
"Morning."

So, the most boring, yet the most important time of the day. Registration. I lean back in my chair thinking that registration was over but nope.

"And please say good morning to not one but two new student we have. There is the one them."

Mr. Adam points to the very back of the class and at first I had to do a little looking around to actually find where this new kid was. He wore all black and a dark hoodie to cover himself. He was pressed against the wall, watching our every move.

As he starts to move, his posture is horrible as he keeps his back bent, leaning forward. Wait, I shouldn't say that. He might have a problem or whatever.

Once the mystery guy gets to the front of the class. He goes to the wall beside Mr. Adam and leans on it. Intently staring at the ground.

"Hello and welcome. Could you please introduce yourself?" The guy shakes his head.

"Alright. This is Steve Rogers-" Mr. Adam gets interrupt by me who just couldn't help but blurt out. "CAPTAIN AMERICA?!" The whole class starts laughing and I flush a deep red before sliding down my chair. "Good observation Mr. Irwin, but no. This is not 'Captain America' though. This is just one of our new students, Steve Rogers." I was a little disappointed about the fact that it wasn't Captain America but I can handle it.

"Where's our second student?" He asks and a girl a few seats beside me starts frantically waving her arm. I guess she is new. "Ahh. There you are. Please give a warm welcome to Lexi Mitchell." We all clap as Lexi stands up and skips towards the front. This girl was all rainbows and sunshine. The total opposite of Steve. She also looked surprisingly like Luke. The same blue eyes, stick straight blonde hair and she even has a lip piercing. Go figure.

I notice Luke staring at her in awe. "Wittle Lukey has a wittle crush doesn't he." I coo, poking Luke as he sat beside me. "Shut up." But I don't. I just continue to poke him.

"Luke has a crush on the new girl?" Skyler asks me in disbelief as we walk to English. "Yeah. Well, I think he does. That guy is head over heels in love."

Stupid conscience. I know that already. Skyler is perfect. Don't need my brain to remind me. "I'm pretty sure this is his first crush. We need to hook them up." Skyler suggests. "Yeah. We should."

"Luke has a crush on the new girl?" Shaylin asks, widening her eyes. "Yep." I reply back simply. "We're going to try and hook them up later on." Shreya smirks and I grin back in response. "Speaking of the hottie..." Shaylin points over to Lexi who was currently walking along side Sky. "I guess Skyler's already one step ahead."

So I guess that's the first chapter. This just explains all the characters. I'm trying to keep this book as short as possible as I will be having two other books that are in a miniature series.

Thoughts on Luke and Lexi. Leki? I don't know. Ship names needed.

Thoughts on Skylum and Ashler? If you have any other ship names then suggest them please. Which one do you want to happen? Even though it's really obvious.
