"Ah! What the hell?" you exclaimed, groggy as you were just awoken by your little brother. Your once warm bed was now drenched with freezing water along with your silk pajamas.

"You little shit." you mumbled under your breath and glared at your brother.

"Come on, y/n! Papa wants to see you before he goes to work." your brother (b/n) chuckled. He then runs out of your room.

Your body was shaking a bit from the water and the sheets. You check your phone to see the time; a little past 10:30am. You never get to sleep in past 9:00 but when you do, you love every second of it.

You slowly get out of your bed and stretch your arms and legs. Connected to your bedroom was a nice balcony so you grab your robe, hoping it doesn't get wet from your clothes, and open your door leading to the balcony.

It was a beautiful day in Tokyo. The sun was shining, the temperature was nice and warm but not too hot and the birds were singing a lovely tune.

You didn't grow up in Japan. Your Papa is a world-class heart surgeon who decided that he didn't want to stay in one place for a while. You were originally from the United States but got a chance to travel.

As a slight breeze rushed past your face, you took a deep breath and a quick look around the busy streets of Tokyo.

You turned around and closed your door behind you. You grabbed your f/c light hoodie, some dark-washed shorts, underwear and a fitness tank then headed for the bathroom to shower.

After taking a hot shower and getting ready, you head downstairs only to be greeted with a sudden silence. You didn't even notice the lights going out as your home has many big windows allowing the sunlight to pass through.

That's odd. Papa and b/n are usually waiting at the dining room table for me.

You shrugged it off thinking that you took a longer shower than expected and your family just left you. B/n heading for school, Papa to the hospital.

However, the table was set with plates and utensils but no food was made. Not even the aroma of freshly-made breakfast filled the air. You glance over to the TV in the living room but noticed it was turned off. You then grab the remote and tried turning it on, but of course the screen would not light up.

You slightly furrowed your eyebrows as now you were a little concerned with the suddenly disappearance of your family. A soft hum left your lips as you grabbed your volleyball duffel bag and your cellphone.

"Now I know I charged this last night." you mumbled as your phone would not even turn on. With a deep breath you slipped your phone in your hoodie pocket and slung your bag over your shoulder.

I guess I'll just head to practice. Maybe things will be normal when I arrive there.

You opened your door and to your surprise the streets were still. Like, eerily still. Your eyes widened as you looked all around and listened for those birds chirping, which you could not hear anymore.

"This isn't good." you blatantly stated. Now, you were getting worried.
