"IT'S OKAY NOT TO BEE OKAY"

In the darkness of the night,

When the stars shine their light,

And the moon casts its glow,

I lay awake, with thoughts that flow.

Thoughts of fear, thoughts of pain,

Thoughts of loss, thoughts of gain,

Thoughts of hope, thoughts of love,

Thoughts of everything that I’ve been through.

And in the midst of all these thoughts,

I realize that it’s okay not to be okay,

That it’s okay to feel the weight of the world,

To feel the burden of life unfurled.

It’s okay to cry, to let the tears fall,

To let the emotions rise, to feel them all,

To scream and shout, to let out the pain,

To let the heart break, to feel the strain.

For in the darkness of the night,

When the stars shine their light,

And the moon casts its glow,

We all have moments when we don’t know.

We don’t know what tomorrow brings,

We don’t know what fate has in store,

We don’t know what the future holds,

We don’t know what we’re fighting for.

But in the midst of all this uncertainty,

We must remember that it’s okay not to be okay,

That it’s okay to stumble and fall,

To make mistakes, to stand tall.

For in the darkness of the night,

When the stars shine their light,

And the moon casts its glow,

We must remember that we’re not alone.

We’re not alone in our struggles,

We’re not alone in our pain,

We’re not alone in our heartache,

We’re not alone in our shame.

For in this world, we’re all connected,

Like the stars in the sky,

We all have our own stories,

We all have our own ties.

For like the flowers that bloom in spring,

We all have a chance to grow,

To rise from the ashes, to spread our wings,

To let go of the pain and let the love flow.

So let the tears fall, let the emotions flow,

Let the heart break, let the pain go,

For in the darkness of the night,

When the stars shine their light, And the moon casts its glow,

We must remember that it’s okay not to be okay.

It's okay not to be okay, to feel the weight of the world

To struggle with thoughts that swirl,
to unfurl and unfurl.

It's okay to be down, to wear a frown

To not always wear a crown,

to feel like falling to the ground.

It's okay to be scared,

to have doubts and to be unprepared

It's okay to have nightmares,

to feel trapped and ensnared.

It's okay to cry, to let the tears fall from your eyes

To feel the pain, to feel the sighs.

It's okay to be angry, to lash out and to feel rage

It's okay to be bitter, to turn the page.
