In the depths of despair, you once did dwell,
Where darkness shrouded every inch, and all seemed hell.
You fought and struggled, but chains only grew tighter,
And bitter thoughts consumed you like a wildfire.
Yet amidst the pain, a glimmer of hope did shine,
A hand extended, a voice whispered divine.
A soul who saw you, loved you, valued you so much,
Who picked you up and held you with a gentle touch.
This beacon of light, your weapon in the battles you faced,
A savior that you often forget but can't erase.
And though confusion may cloud your mind,
Remember this message, so pure and kind:
That in every hardship you face, someone's there to lend a hand,
So don't give up, my friend, and take courage to stand.
For time will pass, and tears will dry,
And a new morning will bring a fresh, hopeful sky.
