"The monster inside is killing me,
A burden I cannot set free,
A weight upon my weary heart,
Tearing me completely apart.
It whispers secrets in the night,
And fills my mind with endless fright,
A demon that I cannot tame,
A force that fuels my endless shame.
It roars within, a fearsome sound,
A force that tears my world asunder,
And leaves me lost, alone and afraid,
In the darkness, where I have strayed.
But still I fight, I won't give in,
To the beast that lurks within,
For though it may control my soul,
My spirit remains steadfast and bold.
So I'll face the monster in my heart,
With courage and a fire that won't depart,
And I'll emerge, renewed and strong,
With a will to live and carry on."
