"WHAT" i screamed neteyam and tsireya flinched.

my boyfriend was alone. missing. beyond the reef.

i stormed away going to find Ao'nung, what was he thinking what was going through his head?!

i found him standing with his friends again "Ao'nung!" i shouted while i walked up to him, he turned his head his ears pointing down. good

i walked up to his pushing his chest "what were you thinkin!" i shouted again "rina-"

"you lef him beyond the reef!" i hit his chest

"eyrina-"

"he doesnt know his way back!" i hit his chest again

"eyrina!" he shouted

"no! do not shout at me" i said to him pushing my finger into his chest. i was fuming red hot "eyrina im sorry-" he began. i pushed him to the floor and hissed at him i ran away to the water "rina no!" i heard someone yell, i turn to see jake running towards me "jake, he is out there. alone. dead or alive?!" i said tears starting to form in my eyes.

we had been distant lately, but he was still my boyfriend of 2 years. i couldnt take any chances of him not being ok. i went to jump in the water but was caught by jake, him pulling me into a hold. "let me go! jake let me go!" i shouted from his grasp. lo'ak was everything for me i couldnt loose him. not him anyone but him "eyrina, we need to focus on lo'ak and finding him. if you went, we have to worry about your disappearance too" jake said.

i stopped fighting realising he was right, he set me down and hugged me. i let a tear escape my eye but i quickly wipped it away

small timeskip

"they boy was found!" we hear being shout and people gathering around. i ran, and i ran faster then ever to lo'ak. once he was in my view i jumped at him hugging him, he held me back . "lo'ak" i stuttered out "rina im fine" i pulled away

he looked forward, looking enraged the person in his view was Ao'nung. he was walking towards him and i wasnt going to stop him.

jake did though "are you ok?" he said and checked him for wounds "hes ok, hes ok! just a few scratches" he spoke up again.

neytiri came down "i pray i dont pluck the eyes out of my youngest son!" She said in a plucking motion towards lo'aks eyes "no, this is my sons fault he knows better then to go beyond the reef" tonowari said pushing Ao'nung down "ok, well lets go" jake said pushing all of us "no, it was my idea. Ao'nunng tried to stop me" lo'ak said.

i was shocked wondering why he would even say that. even if it were true lo'ak wouldnt speak for him.

lo'ak walked away my following close behind "lo'ak, let talk" i said grabbing his hand pulling im towars me so he would finally face me.

"whats going on" i asked him " your blocking me out" i said now holding both his hands "nothing ma'rina" he said cupping my face with his hand and smiling.

i leaned in and pecked his lips "i was worried for you skxawng" i said nudging his shoulder. we sat next to the water "what happened out there, was it cool?" i asked him "i was so cool! i almos died though-" "WHAT" i interupped him causing him to cover my mouth.

he told me about how this huge fish attaked him and this big tulkun saved him, and how they played for hours, "and he was missing a fin, i felt bad for him" he ended looking forward

He looked disturbed as if he was somewhat uncomfortable now rather then his joyful mood just a second ago

"i should get going, come back to the hut later dont stay out too long" he said to me "ok ma'loak" i said smiling, i leaned into kiss his lips but was met by his cheek. he then stood up and walked away.
