Part 18

Eyrina pov

we finally made it back to the village after multiple trips in the forest from my wobbly legs "hey can we stop at my mauri" ao'nung asked me "yea of course ill wait outside" i said back smiling, once we made it too his hut i heard bickering from inside bu i chose to stay out of it "ok ill be back forest girl" he said and quickly walked inside

"aonung! where have you been"

"dont tell us your not staying home again"

"mother father, please"

"is that a hicky?!"

i heard the shouting from inside and i laughed a bit and i saw roxto coming and signalled for him to come sit with me "hey rina- are those bruises? what happened?" he asked me and my face went purple "sucker fish!" i shouted

the hell was a sucker fish?

"sucker fish?" roxto said "yea! it attacked me- and ao'nung- and yea we ran from it" i said stumbling on my own words "there no su-" he cut himself up making and O shape with his mouth "YOU AND AO-" i covered his mouth before the family inside heard us "yes now shut up and go cover for ao'nung so he can stay the night" i whisper shouted at him 

"so you can fu-" "No! just a sleepover now go!" i said pushing him glaring at him, he held his hands up and walked inside the hut 

"roxto! has this boy been staying with you?"

"uhm yes ma'am i was coming to collect him again, i want to go hunting with him early morning?" 

"oh very well then! go go, ge your sleep"i heard the family rushing the boys out and they walked the other direction i got up quickly and ran up to them interwining my fingers with ao'nungs "so, how was it" roxto said and i hit his arm

"how was what?" ao'nung said and roxto just wiggled his eyebrows "ok we are ver tired-" "from fu-" "ROXTO" i shouted and his ear hung low "go run away before i beat you up" i said and he did so running to his own hut and i rolled my eyes "you sounded like tuk" ao'nung said as we walked and i looked at him "what do you mean?" i said 

'ill beat you up" he mocked and i rolled my eyes "do you wanna go back home and sleep alone?" i threatened "no no please" he said i hit the back of his head, he tugged my tail and started running and i ran after him laughing "come back flipper feet!" i shouted between giggles, eventually catching up to him because i was much faster and i jumped on him causing him to tumble over and i laughed "you bitch!" he said and started to tickle me 

"no please!" i shouted betwen laughs "surrender, white flag!" i said again and then i heard someone clear the throat causing ao'nung to jump up out of fear

it was neytiri "my child, may i speak with you?" she asked and i nodded standing up "meet me in my hut" i whispered to ao'nung and he nodded walking away

"what happened to you?" she asked me looking me up and down "uh sucker fish, very aggresive" i said quickly "ok well.." he started "i thought we should talk on why you moved away, i miss you and does jake, kiri tuk neteyam as well, also lo'ak" i scoffed as she said his name causng her to raise a brow "oh my eywa, lo'ak hasnt told you?" i questioned

i would have expected lo'ak or neteyam to tell their mother but no "ok so, lo'ak cheated on m-""WHAT" she shouted causing me to flinch "yea and i got uncomfterble, then he mated with-"HE WHAT" She shouted again "yea... he mated with the girl and now keeps talking about how he wants me back" neytiri wrapped her arms around me "oh my child, this past month has not been the same with out you, im very sorry for the heartreak, i shall talk to him" she started "but please i know your tired, come talk to me or jake, he misses you dearly, just pop in whenever your always welcomed you know that" she said again

"i treat you like my own, your family my dear, i see you child" she said again and tears formed in my eyes "thank you neytiri" i muttered out "any time eyrina" she said and walked away, i smiled as i watched her figure get smaller and smaller and i walked back to my own hut seeing ao'nung already asleep on my matt and i smiled seeing his calm face

i went and layed next to him "i tried to... stay awake" he said sleepily "tis ok, go to sleep" i said and with that his soft snores came back and i smiled, he wrapped his arms around me waning to stay close and i wrapped my tail around his leg and placed soft kisses on his head and around his face as i watched him sleep

i realized when im with ao'nung i felt nothing but pure joy, joy and happiness, he made me happy, confident and everything about him was perfect, his perfect smile, perfect body, perfect hunting skills, perfect everything, he was sweet and kind when he wanted to be but also stubborn and cocky but it was something i loved about him, his sweet smell of sea water and coconuts, the fact his hair always had a bit of sand in it, the way he noticed when my hair was different, how he still wears the bracelet i made for him, how protective he is over me, how hes the one of the only people who have seen me cry and knows how to comfort me, hes everything to me

i held him closer as if i was scared of i let go he wont be here and i smiled, i smiled at how nervous he was today to tell me he liked me, i smiled at how worried he got when i old him i had i head ache, this boy has my wiped closed my eyes and copied his breathing patterned and fell asleep.
