eyrina pov

with those two word my heart sank to my stomach and my eyes started to sting "no" i said and called and ilu helping him up onto it and rushing to the nearest rock and i saw jake "jake! its neteyam!" i shouted and he helped me pulling on the rock "put pressure on the wound" he said and i put my hands over the wound "come on neteyam stay awake"

"dad, i want to go home" he coughed out "i know son, we're going" jake said "eyrina i-" neteyam started and then his eyes dialted and his body went limp, hes breathing stopped and i couldnt feel a heart beat "no, no" i said and neytiri came over "neteyam?" she said "no, no no no no" she ssaid again "NETEYAM!" she screamed out making the tears finally fall down my face as i hugged his head "oh great mother no please NETEYAM!" she shouted again and i felt like i needed to scream but i couldnt, i felt like a part of me had just been taken away, my big brother, my super hero if you must

my whole life i looked up to neteyam, i wanted to be just like him, a mighty warrior and he was ripped away from me, i wanted to lock myself away just like when my parents died, i felt a hand at my side who i soon realised as ao'nung but i couldnt say anything

there was a ringing in my ears, like everyones voices were muffled and i was only staring at neteyams lifeless body as he stared up at me, but instead of seeing his happy eyes glinter at me, it was met by cold lifeless eyes with no shine no color, just his plain old eye

i stood up ignoring everyone and everything and jumped on an ilu back to the main island, once i reached there i ran into my hut and got my bow and 6 arrorows and i heard people still calling my name but i ignored them

i ran into the forest, i didnt call for my ikran she just came to me, i mounted her and with out a word i lifted off from the floor and too the ship i saw kauri struggling to fight with a spear so i jumped off my ikran shooting an arrow at the gaurd who was pushing kauri in the middle of his eyes and joing him in combat fighting side by side wit him

little by little one by one we killed all the gaurds around us, i assumed he didnt know about neteyam so i wasnt going to tell him "you ok?" he asked me and all i did was nod "come" i said and grabbed my arrows which were priced into sky peoples bodys and i called for my ikran what i didnt realise was there was 2 other gaurds watching us and when i did realise it was too late

3 gun shots

a loud screech 

 my name being screamed

is what i heard before i looked up and saw my ikran falling from the sky lifeless "UI'LA" i screamed i felt the bond slowly rip away like stiches being ripped out my body first neteyam now my soul sister "NO!" i screamed as she fell into the water

besides me to see kauri falling to the floor with 2 holes in his body pushing out blood "KAURI!" i screamed out and quickly shot the people who  killed him and my soul sister then rushed to his side holding hm close "eyrina, ill be ok" he said cupping my face "yes you will, im gonna get you help kauri, iv already had someone die on me and my ikran your not gonna be next" i said and i forced him up and hanged his arm over my shoulder "come on kauri come your ok your gonna be ok" i said reassuring him 

afer about 6 steps we fell again "kauri come on" i said trying to drag his body "no, eyrina" he coughed out and tears were in my eyes again "no kauri- i cant lose you" i said looking at him frantically "come visit me" he calmly said smiling and i started crying "why are you so calm! kauri eywa dammit!" i said and his eyes dilated and his body went limp, exactly like neteyams 

i screamed, sadness

"KAURI NO" i shouted again and i tried picking his limp body up "wake up you too heavy!" i said while crying "no no your not dead", denial
