eyrina pov

when ao'nung finished drawing the lines on my body i knew i had to stand up, but i couldnt, i couldnt move, i couldnt accept what was going to happen i just couldnt "nung, i cant do this" i said so quiet "yes you can, come" he said and he pulled me up hlding my hand, ecplipse had passed and i have to go through two funnels in the next two days. i havnt slept since me and ao'nung bonded im tired emoionally and physically i couldnt handle this

i walked out to the water hoping on the ilu next to lo'ak and we all pushed neteyams body out, i looked at him as neytiri began singing his songcord, i pushed my head under the water as neytiri and jake pushed him to the bottom of the ocean to be swallowed by eywas presences, i shouted out under the water and i felt and arm go over me

it was lo'ak

he was the only oher comfort i could get right now so i hugged him back, lo'ak has barley seen me cry so he seems hesitant eventually everyone leaves one by one but i stayed floating on an ilu above the place we barried neteyam singing his songcord for him

"you sing beautifully" i heard behind me "thank you" i muttered out, i turned  to see tonowari riding towards me "is there something you need sir?" i asked him "no my child, but y ou should come in kauris brother wishes to talk to you" he spoke and i nodded following him back "i have a question" tonowari started as we glided across the water together "have you mated with my son" he said and i choked on air

how was i meant to answer that "well uhm sir" i started and he laughed softly," tis ok, i approve, you are a pretty, kind,  young lady and a strong warrior, although i think its a bit early, i wouldnt rather hm with anyone else even if your from a diffrent clan" and i smiled with his approval, "thanks sir" i said and got off the ilu as i was met with a boy who looked like kauri but obviosly wasnt 

"your eyrina right?" he asked me and i nodded "oh cool im iz'ak kauri's brother" he said holding out a hand which i did take so he awkwardly put his hand down "so uh i wanted to ask if you could help with pushing him to his final resting place because our parents left awhile ago, so its just me and him" he asked me and i thought for a second, who would do that for me, i dont have siblings

"of course, what time" i asked and he thought for a second "ecplipse it was his favourite time" and tonowari who was still next to me nodded "ok ill see you then" i said annd walked away wanting to find ao'nung cause i needed a hug

when i did find him, he was sitting with another girl, she was clinging to his arm and he was resting his head on hers, i thought it was tsireya but as i got closer i realised it wasnt, i stopped and looked at the two, i couldnt hear what they were talking about but it was something, he lifted his head but hers stayed on his shoulder clinging to his arm, i wanted to scream

of course because of my oast i assumed the worst, he used me and mated with me now hes cheating, i felt a tear go down my face and i turned to walk away and i stepped on a stick why tf was there a stick here, ao'nung turned around to see my face "eyrina-" he started and looked down to see the girl still clinging to him "no i swear-" i cut him off by walking away tears streaming down my face

i hated this island

i hated the people

i hated the ways

i hated lo'ak

i hate ao'nung.

i wanted to call for my ikran and fly away but i couldnt so i just kept walking into the forest, till i ended up and the tree i always do, i looked at it and saw 'A + E' carved into it with a love heart around it and more tears fell out my eyes and i screamed really loud, why must this happen to me why must i loose everything i love, why is happiness so hard, even if we do go back to the forest i wont be going back with anything i love, all taken by the sky people or some random fish bitch with curly hair
