Eyrina pov

i woke up to ao'nung moving sightly "my love, its lunch you need to get up" he said and i yawned stretching "ma'nung" i cause cuddling into his shoulder and he chuckled standing up with my legs around his torso and arms around his neck and called for an ilu to ride back to the main island so i got off him so i could sit behind him on the ilu

we slowly rid back to the island and as we arrived i saw lo'ak and that random fish bitch that was with ao'nung the other day having a conversation but once they saw us they both walked separate ways which i found a bit weird but whatever

i got off the ilu and ao'nung followed and rotxo, izak and kiri came up to us, our new little group and i smiled "hey guys" i said "hey rina" they all said in sync and i giggled a bit we all sat and talked for bit, we talked about random things, bringing up how ao'nung and rotxo made fun of kiri and i when we first came or how kauri had a crush on me and kissed me one time

after i said that ao'nung went quite, he didnt speak alot and he seemed pissed off "hey you ok?" i whispered to him and he hummed in response and i furrowed my brows "im gonna go" he said and got up "ill come" i said and he looked at me "i wanna be alone" he said again before walking off and i found that weird so i just turned back to the trio as they talked but my mind wondered off

"eyrina dont you agree??" kiri asked "hm sorry what?" i asked and kiri rolled her eyes "tuk is a better braider then lo'ak" she said and i nodded fast "definatly lo'ak ju-" "what do i do?" i was interrupted and i turned my head seeing lo'ak and i rolled my eyes "right, im out of here guys see you later" i said standing up and walking away from lo'ak 

"wait rina" he said jogging next to me "i wanna say sorry" he said and i rolled my eyes scoffing and speeding up and he came infront of me so i stopped and i looked at him "come on rina, two years" he said taking my hand and i snatched away "lo'ak i have a mate that i love dearly, dont you also have a mate?" i said with sas and tried to push past him but he stopped me "I WOULDNT GO THA WAY" he shouted and i furrowed my brows "lo'ak sully, move your blue ass before i make you" i said to him and he raised his arms "just, sorry" he said and i kept walking

once i walked past the rock i realized why he didnt want me to, from what i could see ao'nung had a girl pinned against the wall, was he kissing her? doing shit with her? i didnt know but from here he looked like he was making out with her "ao'nung..."

ao'nung pov

nyree had been nagging me for about 20 minuttes and i was getting annoyed, she kept touching me even when i asked her not to "why do you even like that forest freak, shes actually so u-" i got mad and threw her against a rock holding her wrists tightly "you say another word about that girl ill fuck you up, i will make sure you go to rest with eywa forever" i said threatening her and all she did was smirk "i knew you were agressive in bed but shit"

"your a fucking whore nyree" i spat in her face and then i heard a quite voice behin me and i turned around to see eyrina with tears in her eyes, shit not again "rina please just wait" i said and i bagan walking towards her but he sad face soon grew angry and as i got infront of her she punched me in the face making my nose bleed and me fall back "shit!" i said on the floor and nyree rushed to my side

then eyrina took a fist full of nyrees hair and threw her away from me, she crawled onto nyree punching her left and right in her face and chest "you stay the fuck away from whats not yours you fucking whore!" she shouted between punches and i smirked at her, she did this until the girl was unconscious and then she stood up kicking the girl a few time before she began to storm away not even looking at me and i got up quickly

"eyrina wait" i said jogging up to her and she stopped and looked at me and then slapped my cheek her ears hung low but her face said it all, she looked numb, like every happy thing was just sucked out of her and then she punched my chest "i hate you!" she shouted tears starting to fall from her eyes as she punched mey chest hard,but not hard enough to hurt me

"rina.." i said pulling her in for a hug by her head "no! dont touch me dont touch my hair!" she shouted trying to push away but eventually her knees buckled nd she began crying in my arms "i hate you!" she said again, words i knew she didnt mean but it still hurt "rina i was just telling her off" "liar!" she shouted and i softly groaned and reached for braid, she tried to protest but couldn't, and i connected my queue with her and her tears stopped but i felt my eyes tear up

she felt alone, broken if you must, like no one loved her, she was bad luck charm, she felt angry and she blamed herself for neteyam, kauri, ui'la and her parents, she blames herself for being the reason they moved here and she blames herself for the battle, she felt like she had to be better, stop crying as much and i felt her arms tighter around me and i did the same to her

this girl needed my help and i was going to do whatever i could to give it to her, even if it meant leaving my family, of leaving this island, if it meant giving my title to my sisters mate, if it meant killing myself just for her to be happy again i will do it, if i have to kill for her ill do it, im going to do anything i can to keep my mate safe happy and healthy, shes everything i have, shes literally everything i need

if i left my family, a new one would sprout with her, if it meant leaving this island my home, it wouldnt matter cause no where is a home for me with out her, if lo'ak got my title, i wouldnt care because being eyrins mate is a better title then anything, i just needed her to be ok "im sorry for hitting you" she mumbled out and i kissed her head "its alright love" i said and he sniffled "can we go home and sleep for the rest if the day and i slightly chucked "you love your sleep dont you" i said and she nodded "plus its gonna be dark soon and im not hungry so if you wanna leave to get food while im asleep  you can " she said and i looked at her 

"you havnt been eating" i said and she looked at me "im just not hungry" she said "please i d-""i know you don't wanna talk about it, but stop bottling your feelings up forest girl" i said interrupting her and with hat i picked her up bridal style and walked bac k to the hut "and im not gonna leave u alone cause something bad seems to happen when im not around you" i said again and she smiled, i quickly pecked her on the lips and continued walking
