eyrina pov

"rina wake up" i heard as my body was lightly shaking "eyrina get up" i opened my eyes to see  panicked ao'nung "ma'nung what tis it" i asked him very tiredly "nothing i just thought you were dead, but my sister came and asked if you wanted to go to the spirit tree?" he said and my ears perked up waking up instantly "yes please!" i said standing up and he laughed as i pulled him along with me "hurry up lets go!" 

once we reached the others we all mounted ilus and rode to the spirit tree, it was about a 10 minute ride but it was nice it was me neteyam, kiri, tuk, roxto, tsireya and ao'nung, lo'ak wasnt allowed to come "this is our cove of ancestors" tsireya said "eclipse is the best time to be here" she said as eclipse started "im sorry but where the tree?" i asked tryin not to be rude as there was no tree in sight "you will see ma- rina" ao'nung said almost slipping up but it did not go unheard by me and i looked at him 

as it became dark a glowing sight came from under the water "this is our spirit tree" tsoreya said not to be rude but what the fuck, how are we gonna hold our breath long enough to even see a vision i think ao'nung realised my face and spoke up "when you connect to the tree its almost as if ewya provides you breath from underwater" and my face went to and o shape

i was first to dive under wanting to see my parents hoping eywa would give me that chance ao'nung came next t me and showed me how to connect my que and as soon as i closed my eyes air filled my lungs and white shinnign light got brighter then darker as i came into eywas pressents "sa'nu? sempul?" (mum? farther?) i called out "ma 'evi!?" (my child?!) i heard my mother speak and my smile grew as she ran to me pulling me into a hug "ma 'evi, how are you" she asked me and i smiled "im amazing!" i said "i have to tell you everything!" i said again "ma'tìyawn why did y- rina?!" (my love why did y-rina?!) "sempul!" i shouted and he ran up to me giving me a hug as well "why didnt you visit? where have you been 'evi!" he asked and i explained to them how jake moved us away from the forest and i was un aware with thy had a spirit tree

"and i met a boy.." i started "who!" "what?!" my mother and father said at the same time "i thought you were with lo'ak?!" my mum exclaimed "oh no mother, he was unfaitfull and mated with another woman" i told them and my father was angry "that boy! i knew he was trouble from the start didnt i ma'tìyawn!" my father exclaimed and my mother calmed him down "who is this boy?" my mother asked "his na-" i wanted to finish my sentance but i was ripped away and my vision reset ack to the tree and everyone was swiming up and the tree was flickering

i swam up and saw kiri seizing "kiri!" i shouted and go on an ilu pulling her away from neteyam hitting her face a few times "kiri" i said "is she breathing? is she breathing?" roxto asked and i started preforming cpr untill i felt her breath again "get her back to the village!" tsireya said and i quickly rushed off with kiri in my arms holding her close to my chest

as we got on the beach i picked her up and held her bridal style "jake! JAKE!" i shouted not knowing what else to do, i was on the verge of tears and i wanted jakes comfort but i also wanted him to help kiri, jke came running towards us, neytiri following close behind i had tears in my eyes and my tail was hanging low like my ears "help her" is all i said ebfore they took kiri and ran to their hut, i obviously didnt want to just intrude on them so i stayed on the beach nervously chewing my nails pacing back and forth

i shouldve been faster

why didnt i just look after her

she could be dead and itd somehow be my fault

i couldnt stand my thoughts so i got an ilu and started to ride her, just away for peace and i ended up at the small cave ao'nung showed me awhile back i smiled at the memories and i noticed a figure standing painting on the wall which i reconised as ao'nung "nung" i said and he turned around and came to me kissing my fore head "are you ok? is ur sister ok?" he asked me holding me sides and i shrugged "she could be dead" i said even though i felt her breath
