Eyrina pov

this was the 4th time i had woken up tonight because of a nightmare, this time i sat up and put my hand over my mouth to silently cry, the tears falling down my face as i relived watching neteyam, kauri and my ikran die over and over in my nightmares

"yawntutsyìp?" (darling?) ao'nung said half asleep and he sat up "whats wrong?" he asked as he hugged me, i crawled onto his lap to get closer to him needing to feel him, i pu tmy head on his shoulder and cried a bit "are you ok?" he asked me again and i nodded no, you really are roxtos bestfriend, you both ask dumb ass questions

"did you have a nightmare?" he asked again and i nodded yes and he held me tighter but also layed back down "your alright dont worry, im right here" he said soothing me and he started humming a song while brushing my hair to fall asleep again

i woke up in the morning still on ao'nung and he was already staring at me "morning" he said and i smiled at his morning voice, going slightly purple "morning" i said back to him and he rose an eyebrow "why do you always go purple when we first wake up?" he asked me and i blushed even more "dont worry abot it-" i said "but-" i cut him off by kissing him and he melted into the kiss "lets get food" i said and he nodded following me as i got off him

we interlocked our fingers and started to walk over "by the way, you dad knows" he stoped and froze "knows what" "knows your mated with me" i said and i stayed still "i didnt tell him, he fpund out his own way" i said to him and he gulped and nodded his head "does my mother?" he said "i dont know, i talked to your father yesterday that all" i said again and he nodded

"well do you wanna sit with my family for breakfast then?" he asked me smirking "if i dont kill your sister yea sure" i said and he looked at me with a blank face as we walked into the eating place hand in hand, luckily tsireya wasnt there yet, so me and ao'nung sat down

"ronal, tonowari" i said and gestured i see you to them and they returned "why do you sit with us today child?" she asked me and i looked at ao'nung wondering what to say "uh she is" he started and then he took a big breath "this is my mate, eyrina sully" he said and i leaned closer to him "my last name isnt sully its kor'ra" i whispered "i mean eyrina kor'ra" he said again and i slightly giggled, his father smiled approvingly but his mother did not look so happy

she said and i looked at him and smiled and looked back at her "more then anything" and she looked at her mate, as if they were communicating through there eyes tonowari then stood up "my son and his mate will have their ceremony in 3 eclipses!" he announced and ao'nung stood up forcing me to standing next to him "whats happening" i whispered to him "he clan has to see the mate to decide if you are fit for tashik or not" then everyone started clapping and the kids that i told about the forest came up to me and started hugging me, i smiled at them and hugged them back

"can you play with us, please!" they asked me "i cant today, but tomorrow i definitely will i promise!" i said and they all smiled and ran off "im sorry but if you will excuse me i have to talk to iz'ak" i said to the family and ao'nung grabbed my arm "whos iz'ak" he asked me and i kissed his cheek "kauris brother, we are planning his.." i trailed off and ao'nung understood "want me to come with you?" he asked and i shrugged "i dont mind"
