The Crossover Begins (Chapter 16)

All the way in New York City.

(Leo's POV)

I had just gotten done with training so I decided to text my online friend/Pen pal Connie. She told me she was visiting a place called Gravity Falls for the summer. We talked for a couple minutes until... the question I had feared she would ask was asked. She had asked for a picture of me and my brothers. I tried to explain to her it wasn't that easy but she was stubborn. She also mentioned that Gravity Falls was some kind of magnet to weirdness. "I'll ask Donnie to look into it later." I mumbled. After promising to send a picture tomorrow, I began to freak out. 'What if she hates me and never wants to talk again?' I thought. "Leo you good bro?" I hear Raph ask as he sits down with Chompy. "Uhhh you know how I have that online friend?" I said. "Yeah I think Mikey mentioned something about it the other day." He said obviously not really caring about the conversation. "Well she wants a photo of me and you guys." I said panicking. Raph who was taking a sip from his drink at the moment, spits his drink out and begins choking after hearing my words. "LEO YOU KNOW WE CAN'T DO THAT!!" he then yells after he stops choking. "Do what?" Mikey says poking his head out from around the kitchen corner, then Donnie's lab doors open and Donnie's head pokes out. "Remember Leo's friend he has online?" Raph says clearly trying not to yell.
Both Donnie and Mikey nod. "WELL HE PROMISED TO SEND A PICTURE OF US TO HER!!!". I hear as my brothers gasp and then hear a clang as Mikey drops a metal bowl. "Leo you can't, we don't even know her that well." Donnie says with a worried tone. "I know but she's actually seen weird stuff in Gravity Falls these past few days." I say. "So she may be able to handle the truth". I continue. "Bro you really think she won't care if she sees what we look like?!" Mikey says a bit excited. "I would love to have a new human friend, even if it's over the Internet!". "Mikey she would have proof of our existence and if she wants to she could even use it to expose us!!" Raph says angry. Donnie who had slipped in his lab to grab his laptop real quick comes back and sit down next to me. I watch as he looks up Gravity Falls. "I knew Gravity Falls sounded familiar." He finally says, gaining the attention of Mikey and Raph. "I read an article on it about a year ago during the months we spent at the farm house." He began to explain. "Turns out they didn't wanna make it public right away but they had a mini apocalypse happen last summer until this family saved the town." He finished. "Huh that's interesting." I said now looking at the article carefully.
