(Dipper's POV)
Me and Leo were playing a board game up in Connie's room so I figured this was a best time as ever to start asking questions. "So Leo how do you and Connie know each other?" I ask the humanoid turtle sitting across from me. "Oh shes my pen pal /online friend." He says as he moves his game peice up a few spaces. "So you know her interests right?" I say trying to not be too obvious. "Umm yeah she likes the show Space Heroes, that's actually how me and her met." Leo says as I move my game peice forward. "Ok, anything else?" I ask him. Leo responds by saying "Well I don't really know much other than the Space Heroes thing, but I know she likes to draw." Ok Im getting somewhere i thought. "Hey Dipper could you keep a secret?" Leo asks me. "Yeah sure." Then what he says next shocks me. "Umm well I may be falling for Connie." Leo says with a small tint of pink on his cheeks. "You what?!" I say nearly falling off the bed. "I know its not something that could even work out but I just think I may be getting over my feelings for a girl I used to like." Leo continues. "Well umm Leo I just can't see a giant turtle and a human girl being a couple." I say trying to make him drop the subject. "That's what Raph kept saying to my brother Donnie." Leo says with a sigh. "Still won't be able to forget the day Donnie realized how right Raph was." Leo continues to talk about his brother. "What happened exactly?" I ask. "Well April, the human girl my brother had a crush on started going out with our other human friend named Casey." "It broke Donnie's heart, But I honestly tried to get him to just let it go but he locked himself in his lab for weeks." Leo tells me. "I just don't think me and the other girl will work out either." Leo says with a bit of sadness in his tone. "Why not?" I ask. "Well turns out she's kinda like our sister." Leo says. "Our adopted... fathers... daughter from before he found me and my brothers." Leo explains. I noticed how he kinda just stopped to think before mentioning his father and when he did begin talking again his voice was full of sadness. I got to know the turtle some more, but I just couldn't shake the feeling he was hiding something from everyone.
