CHAPTER-2

"A whole bank!?"
In the office a blonde shouted shocked at the new learned news.

"Yeah...and I give you the case to investigate"
The old looking man sitting in front of her informed her.

"Any clue about him? His face...? Any important stuff?"
She asked trying to figure out but got a 'no' in reply.

"Nothing just that...a lady gaurd saw him a little...only his eyes...they were red...like blood..."

Her eyes looked towards the man in daze...

Red...

Would it help...

"Fine...I wanna talk to that gaurd again"

"Hah... it's gonna be hell lot of work..."
She sighed going out of the office and holding her head while messaging her temples.

She took a step to walk forwards but suddenly a force made her fall on ground...
Her eyes closed due to reflexes, ready to get hit by the pain.

And as expected her back hit the hard ground giving her senses to groan in pain..
She felt a weight hover over her body.

Her eyes snapped again to meet by a pair of eyes with glasses on it.

"Oh my"
The person got up from her and let out a exaggerated sigh.

"I can be alot reckless miss."
"Forgive me"
He apologetically sighed and walked away from the blonde.

Though...

He put a slip in her pocket without even her noticing...

A smirk on his lips before he completely got lost in the crowd of people.

The blonde looked at him with doughtfull eyes...

Red eyes...

Blood one at that...

It can't be a coencidense...

Can it?

Her hand got inside her pocket to find something in it..

I don't remember putting something...

She took out the peice of paper , opening it and founding texts written on it.

'good to see my partner'
'but you're just too stupid to catch me, love'

She crumpled the paper on her hand mercilessly and threw it on the road.

'So it was indeed him!!'

"Pfft-"
"You should have seen her face!"
"She looked like a angry octopus!"

The ravennete laughed uncontrollably while stuffing some noddles.

"You seem a little too interested in her"
With this statement the ravennete looked at him with a bored look stopping his laughter and rolled his eyes.

"Interested? I don't think so...I'm just doing it for the plan"
He replied, now silently eating his noodles.

"Though... I don't really think that it is necessary...why are you taking risk?"
His partner said and the ravennete nodded his head in aggreement.

"Yeah it isn't really necessary and really risky but..."
A playful smile curved up to his face making the brunnete let out a tired sigh.

"But it's fun."
"I swear lucas, you're so childish"
He said eyeing the ravennete who seemed unbothered.

"I'm not childish...I'm just trying to live a happy life"
The ravenette corrected getting up to throw the plate he ate his noddles from in the sink.

"Anyway... it's not like I'm gonna have a long one at that..."
His expression darkened so as the brunnete's.
