CHAPTER-20

Two figures clothed in black clothes leaped into one of the vents swiftly in the speed of light. (Even though it's not possible, let's just say it's ✨Wattpad logic ✨)

"Stay quiet"
Athanasia whispered to Lucas who was behind her, the latter nodded his head.

Both of them moved forward Crouching in the vent like mice trying to avoid making any sound.

They were finally going to continue their plan. Today the main boss will appear. It's either do or do.

The girl was moving but stopped when she found a vent window, she looked down towards the group of people who were in that room.

The room consisted of four people, one was a man wearing a grey coat with glasses on his grey eyes. Other two were wearing dull black clothes with their faces covered with a mask, they had normal dull brown hair. The last one was a man who wore a seemingly blue expensive coat with grey jeans. His face wasn't clear due to him facing the other side, but the colour of his hair were brown, a bold shade of it.

She signalled Lucas towards the window and he nodded.

Both were eavesdropping on the conversation of the four.

"Is it done?"
The expensive coat wearing man asked.

"Not yet sir, It would still take almost half a day to prepare everything"
The spectacle guy answered seeming to be deep in thoughts.

The blonde heard the rich man 'tch' in annoyance.
"I told you to be fast, I just want my work to be done. Do it faster so I could get my payment "
The man said taking out a cigarette and lighter from his pocket. He blew the cigarette and put it in his mouth.

(P.S. Smoking is injurious to health please refrain from doing it. But smoking is good for guys like this one ↑, let them die)

'What could they mean by it?'
'And can that guy perhaps be the boss?'

The blonde pondered still and looked at the ravennete, who also seemed to be busy thinking about something.

"Those girls would be millions"
The other guy snickered.

The two black clothed boys standing around the boss, as guessed by the blonde, must be goons as they haven't taken part in any of the conversation till now. So we will act as they don't exist.

"They will be, ofcourse. That orphanage does provide good stuff"

'Orphanage....? Could it be that...'

"The batch of girls last year was also good but this batch would be better"

"The boys of that orphanage this year also prove to be good in the distribution of drugs we provided"

(I dunno what I'm writing so bear with me-)

The blonde turned towards the man who was behind her. Her eyes widened in panick when she saw his teeth gritted and hands clenched tightly.

It was necessary to keep his calm for now, atleast until Helena and Cable inform them that they have eliminated all the goons out there.

It would be proved fatal if they try get found before it and the boss calls the goons.

She placed her hand on the ravennete's clenched fist, making him look up towards her to meet with a pair of comforting and understanding eyes staring at him.

He sighed softly, 'just this once and it's gonna be over for all'

The two turned their attention back to the group of four, two if we talk about the people having conversation.

"It would be a loss after we will destroy it. But we don't have any work with it anymore so it would be worth it."

"After leaving this wreched place we can enjoy in New York and there would also be much profitable works"

The boss nodded at the other man's world and smirked. His face was still not clear but by his tone any can understand.

"I have ordered them to burn the orphanage as soon as we land on New York. The Kids working for us here and also the kids at the orphanage, would be sacrificed for our succes"
He snickered.

"I would surely miss using those brats to let out my anger"
He sighed at the end.

The spectacle guy laughed at his words, "How about we take two or three with us? We can sell them as slaves too"

The blonde clenched her fists. It was all so enraging for her, but she knew that she had to wait for the right chance and so did the ravenette.

They were determined to stop the 'succes' this man was talking about.

Ofcourse, neither of them planned to kill him. Just put him in jail.

On the other side, Helena and Cable were almost done with their works.

A man was standing infront of a room gaurding it. He moved to the other side in confusion when he felt something touch his shoulder.

He looked up but was attacked by a clothed figure of a girl who jumped at him and injected something at his  neck.

Soon, the eyes of the man closed as he fell on the floor creating a loud noise.

The figure stood straight on her feet after she made sure that the man was drown in his slumber.

The figure took out the mask covering their face and let out a breath of relief.

It was none other than Helena.
She took out her communicator from her costume pocket and communicated with Cable.

"I'm done cleaning this area, what about you?"
She asked panting.

"Wait"
She heard a loud sound from the other side, like something falling on the ground.

"Now, done"
Cable replied and Helena nodded.

"We should tell Athy and Lucas then"

Cable agreed at her words and She ended the call, proceeding to call the blonde who was still eavesdropping at the group.

What will happen next?

How was it!

Just two more chaps and it would end...I also have drafts of In Search of a wish which I haven't updated yet...I have it till chp 16!

I want to end that one when I'll end this one too, so i could work on any other book while you guys enjoy ISOAW!

And I'm trying to draw with water colour which I'm extremely shitty at...the fifth try was honestly pretty good than others...

My summer holidays are slowly coming to end and I'm sulking at it...
