"What y'all think y'all man gettin y'all tomorrow?" Alexis asked the other two girls, Marron and Brandy. "Ouuu Mar is already romantic as hell so he's probably gonna go all out I love my mannnn." Brandy said.
"What about you Roni?" Brandy asked, Alexis looking at her while waiting for her answer as well. "Wellll... Namil has kinda been acting distant lately so I don't think I'm gonna have a valentine again this year." Marron said shyly, poking at her salad in front of her.
"Whattt? I thought y'all were just all over each other like two weeks ago? What happened?" Alexis asked making Marron sigh. "Yeah, I thought so too until I was texting him one day and he was hella dry and then after that, whenever I tried to FaceTime him he'd decline and would just send a simple 'busy'." Marron said, becoming sad just thinking about it.
"Aww honey, you got us. You don't need his rude ass." Brandy rubbed her back making Marron groan. "I'm tired of hearing that, I wanna feel loved, like, actually loved by a lover. I love y'all with everything in me but I also love him too." Marron said.
"I understand, maybe next year?" Alexis said, not knowing how to comfort the girl. "I can get Wesley to talk to him for you-
"No no no no, I need to talk to him myself, I don't wanna feel like I'm getting y'all involved with my relationship. I hate that shit myself." Marron said.
"Well you seem like you're really into him so I hope you two get to talk it out sometime soon, we gotta get back to class before our teacher realizes we've been in the bathroom for 30 minutes, bye Roni Ron." Brandy gave her a big kiss on her cheek making her grin before the two left her to be alone.
Ever since Namil stopped communicating with Marron, she also stopped riding home with him because it would've been an awkward silence anyway.
She really did miss his presence but if he wasn't going to communicate with her why should she even keep trying. She hated being alone because her mind would wander off to Namil every time, which was why she enjoyed being surrounded by her friends because she didn't have to worry about him.

Today was Saturday, the day of love, and it was just another day to Marron. She knew her friends were probably blowing up their groupchat about what their boyfriends got them so she didn't bother even checking it.
