Honey was happy she was finally able to move out of her parent's home and into a nice house with her boyfriend, Amari. She was estatic really.
She got to have her own space, spend more time with her boyfriend and do quite frankly whatever she wanted. Though there were still cons to sharing a house with her the male.
She understood occasionally having company over because duh, but it was starting to be a habit for Amari.
Considering they'd been dating for years, she knew his friends pretty well, but it could get annoying at times.
Blasting music, smoking in the house, and just being loud in general irked her nerves real bad. Currently, the two were parallel playing; Amari laying beside her in bed on his phone, Honey sitting up against the headboard scrolling through household items they needed off Amazon.
"Aye, what you wanna eat? The gang finna be over soon and- "Amari." Honey interrupted, looking at him with a deadpanned look. "Wassup?" He said confused, his eyebrows furrowed at the expression she had.
"You know how I feel about them when they come over. They stay here for hours, smoke up my living room and be loud. I don't feel like being bothered with that tonight." Honey stressed.
"We can take that shit outside then, baby. Youn even gotta worry bout that." Amari rubbed on her inner thigh. "That's not the poiiiint, I wanna spend time with you and be up under you. Why do you think I was so eager to move in with just you?" She said.
Amari sighed. The idea of moving in with his significant other wasn't so glamorous as he thought it would be because of moments like these. Some days she wanted to be up under him, some days she didn't; and vice versa.
He understood where she was coming from, but sometimes he wanted to spend time with someone other than her since they'd see one another everyday. "Aight, let's make a deal, since they comin at liiikee, 5 ish, imma tell em to leave around like 9." He said
"8."
"9."
"I said 8."
"Why youn never wanna meet me in the middle bruh? 4 hours ain't nothing." He said. "Because you see them like every other day, why do y'all need to see each other that much?" She said.
"We just be chillin bruh, if you keep yo self occupied for long enough, time gone slip past you." He reassured her. "You're annoying, go ahead and let them come I guess." Honey closed her laptop and sat it on the nightstand, turning her back to him in the bed.
"Honey, are you for real? It won't be long baby I promise." Amari sat up, placing his hand on her side—Honey not replying to him.

Honey turned the room television up, trying to overpower the loud men downstairs, but it was just as annoying.
She was already pissed at him having company over, this just added fuel to the fire. Not to mention, they were over later than he told them they'd be. She would've went downstairs and made a scene, but she figured it would've been a bit extreme; so she had a better idea in mind.
She reached over and grabbed her phone—opening the messages between her and her lover.
