Kaylie was curled up on the couch in the airbnb she was in, scrolling through beats she made on the way to the airbnb on her MacBook.
Her peace would soon be disturbed when feeling Chase plop down beside her and laying his head on her shoulder.
"Chassse! What you want?" She groaned as he pulled out his phone. "Guess where we going tomorrow." He said, looking up at her; showing the black rubberbands on his braces when he smiled.
"What'd you sign me up for now?" She playfully sighed. He showed her his screen, her face lighting up when seeing he bought two tickets to Universal; the most expensive ones too since he scheduled it for the day after they landed In California.
"Che! No way! Are you for real?" She gasped, looking at him wide-eyed. Chase and Kaylie were best friends; considering she was his producer, meaning they spent the majority of their time together.
People often thought the two were a couple based off how they'd constantly play fight, the pictures of them you'd find online and how you'd always see them somewhere up under one another.
"Oh shiiitt who all comin?" Kaylie asked—still in awe. "Uhh, Will, Mari, his girl, Stef, Joey and Tycho. You know he gone be recordin n shit." Chase smiled.
She giggled as she moved her laptop out the way to leap onto him, Chase yelping as he wrapped his arms around her.
"You're so sweeeet." She cheesed, hugging him tightly. "Aye y'all know how to work the ac- oh shit." Joey slowly backed out of the living room, Kaylie keeping eye contact with Joey as she kept a mischievous smile on her face the whole time.
Once he finally left, Chase sucked his teeth "Why you still on me, bruh?" Chase groaned, smiling as he pulled his beanie down over his eyes.
"Don't act like you don't love me cause your friends here." She said, kissing his cheek before unraveling herself from around him.
"And you wonder why people think we together." He said, shaking his head. "What beats you got for me?" He scooted over to where he was right back under her again.
"Uhh, I was playing around with this one for a good minute, I see some potential with you using this one." Kaylie disconnected her headphones before playing the beat for 'Right Now' by Che.
"Damn, Kay, ian know you knew how to make sum melodic shit like this, gone head send me this." He said, nodding to the beat making her chuckle.

"Damn it's hot as shit." Joey complained as he scoped the theme park, searching for their other friends they were supposed to be meeting up with.
Meanwhile, Kaylie held a twisty in her mouth while Chase sat on a bench, letting Kaylie wrap his locs up in a bun.
"Can y'all niggas stop acting like a couple and come help me find these niggas? This place big as hell." The darkskin grumbled.
"Just a second, Joey, damn. You can't call them?" Kaylie snapped, finally finishing Chase's bun and snatched the map out of his hand to fan herself with it, Chase scrunching his face up at her attitude.
"I already did, y'all just wastin time." Joey said. "Chase c'mon before I hurt this nigga bro." Eventually during their walk, Kaylie spotted Tycho and his go-pro he had in case they went on any water rides.
"Hi guysss!" Kaylie cheerfully greeted the group, immediately going in for a hug with Aimee, Amari's girlfriend. "Don't you look cute?" Aimee pulled away to get a look at Kaylie's outfit again.
She was wearing was an oversized version of Chase's 'Before Crueger' cover shirt, some really short cargo shorts and her black low top Maison Miharas. "Girl- this ain't nothin, I just know I'm finna be hot." Kaylie waved her off.
