Tom stood before the feline soul beast, its eyes glimmering with the predatory gleam of a seasoned hunter. He knew he was in for a fight, especially since his power was not at its fullest strength. The cat soul beast let out a sharp, piercing cry and lunged forward, its body twisting and writhing as it summoned powerful winds to propel its every move.

Tom was quick on his feet, dodging the beast's attacks with agile grace. He tried to parry with his sword, but the beast's speed and power proved too much for him. He could feel the wind slicing through the air, cutting close to his flesh with each and every slash.

Tom gritted his teeth and summoned the power within him once more, trying to surround himself with energy as he had done before. Though this time, the energy was barely there, barely enough to create a shimmering aura around him. He tried to focus, to concentrate on the silver sword, but its power paled in comparison to the last time he had wielded it.

The cat soul beast let out a maddening cackle, sensing Tom's frustration and weakness. It launched another barrage of air slashes, this time with even greater ferocity. Tom was barely able to dodge them, his movements becoming sluggish as he struggled to keep up.

In that moment, Tom realized he was in over his head. He was a new member of the Ghoul Capture Team, still learning and growing, but this soul beast was too much for him to handle alone. He needed help, he needed his team. He needed Yulia and Erdwin. But they were nowhere to be found, trapped in separate rooms with their own trials.

As Tom was tossed into the air, he felt a sharp pain in his side. He looked down to see a deep gash inflicted by the cat soul beast. He clutched his wound, gritting his teeth as he tried to get up, but the soul beast was already upon him.

As Tom lay on the ground, his life fading away, everything started to grow cold and dark. He couldn't help but think of all his regrets - never being able to find a girlfriend, finish college, water his plant, get that darn soul beast out of his room, or even see Yulia one last time. Suddenly, the Cat Soul Beast appeared, ready to finish him off. But as it moved in for the final strike, Tom disappeared and reappeared behind it, startling the creature.

Tom's eyes glowed with an intense energy as he looked at the Cat Soul Beast. He sniffed the air, wrinkling his nose in disgust. "The first thing I wake up to after 500 years is the smell of a sewer," he muttered, his voice that of someone else.

The Cat Soul Beast was visibly scared, its fur standing on end as it looked at Tom. But the possessed Tom merely smiled maniacally, mocking the creature for being so weak. "You're tiny for what you're supposed to be," he taunted, looking confused.

Tom then summoned a massive punch, striking the Cat Soul Beast with a devastating blow. The impact sent the creature flying through the air, crashing into the nearby riverbed. Possessed Tom took in the scenery, his eyes blazing with a sinister light.

"Let's get some fresh air," he said, his voice filled with excitement. With a single kick, he broke the sorcery tag that was keeping the Cat Soul Beast trapped in the room, freeing it to wander the world once again.

Tom looked up at the sky, smiling as he took in the view. "Finally, I get to see the world again," he whispered, his eyes glowing with an intense energy. The spirit possessing Tom had finally emerged, and it was a force to be reckoned with.

The air was filled with the sound of shattering concrete and the screeching of metal as the cat soul beast went all out, its wild slashes causing major damage to the riverbed and nearby roads. Cars were skewered and passersby ran for their lives, but the possessed Tom simply stood there, a manic smile plastered on his face as he reveled in the thrill of the fight.

"Ha! This is what it feels like to be alive again!" the spirit possessing Tom shouted, his eyes glowing with soul energy. "I've been trapped for far too long, but now, I have a body to fight with!"

The cat soul beast was no match for the power of Tom's new form. With each strike, it was pushed back, its soul energy draining away with each passing moment. But Tom was having the time of his life, reveling in the raw power that came with his new form.

"Come on, you weakling!" Tom taunted, his voice ringing out over the chaos. "Is this all you've got? I expected more from a soul beast of your caliber!"

The cat soul beast responded by unleashing a barrage of air slashes, but Tom simply dodged them with ease. He laughed as he fought, his movements quick and precise as he expertly evaded each and every attack.

"You know what they say, practice makes perfect!" Tom quipped, before launching a counterattack.

With a flick of his wrist, Tom summoned a silver sword, its blade glinting in the sunlight as he slashed at the cat soul beast. The soul beast tried to dodge, but it was too late, the sword cutting through its body, draining its soul energy and reducing it to a harmless pile of ash.

Tom breathed heavily, his eyes still glowing with soul energy. He looked down at the remains of the cat soul beast and let out a wild cackle.

"What a rush!" he shouted, before turning to look at the destruction he had caused. "Well, I suppose we should clean this mess up before the authorities arrive."

With that, Tom disappeared, his form becoming nothing more than a fleeting memory in the minds of those who had witnessed the battle.

Yulia was in a critical state as she lay on the ground, blood pouring from her wounds. The ghoul stood over her, a cruel grin spreading across his face as he raised his hand, ready to finish her off. Just as he was about to strike, he noticed that his sorcery tags had been broken, causing him to pause.

"Hmm? What's this?" The ghoul muttered, looking around the room. "One brat passed out shortly after, and I can't sense the other." He let out a cruel laugh. "Well, it doesn't matter. You'll find your friend that escaped soon enough, and I'll end him just like I will you."

Just as the ghoul was about to strike, the door to the room was suddenly destroyed, sending debris flying in every direction. Possessed Tom stood in the doorway, his eyes glowing with soul energy. The ghoul took a step back in fear, not sensing the soul energy from before.

"Hey there," Possessed Tom said, a cocky smirk spreading across his face. "You wouldn't happen to be the cat soul beast's owner, would you?"

The ghoul fell to the ground in utter shock, unable to comprehend what was happening. Possessed Tom walked towards him, a menacing aura surrounding him as he approached.

"It seems like I have a new plaything now," Possessed Tom said, a sadistic gleam in his eye. "And you, my friend, are going to be the first."
