Lockwood leads the group down by the river's side. He was going the right way, so Grace didn't correct him. She thought Flo might be out here just for work."I hope they still work this. It's been a while," Lockwood admitted.
He glanced at Grace and she nodded giving him a big smile. Lockwood was slightly shocked because he thought she was still mad at him about earlier.
"Who? The Relic men? Don't you think they'll be hiding with Fittes all over town?" Lucy asked trailing behind the pair. She felt out of place sort of. Third-wheeling in a way.
"Probably, this one's a bit different though," Lockwood admitted. Grace couldn't help herself. She wanted to surprise Flo. Although Grace knew she might have a knife and that wouldn't end well for her. Grace took off running.
"Grace," Lockwood sighed as he reached out for her. She was too far out of his reach though. He trusted Grace and he trusted Flo. So he didn't need to worry, but he couldn't help it. Flo turned seeing the blonde running at her.
"Well, I'll be damned," Flo smiled. Grace tackled her with a hug.
"You still smell like dirt," Grace joked and Flo shoved her away.
"And I thought we were going to have a peaceful meeting," Flo smirked looking around Grace. "Gracie, did you bring a boy?" She asked and Grace rolled her eyes.
"Flo—"
"Grace! Lockwood!" Lucy yelled.
Grace spun around seeing a cold maiden moving towards Lucy. Lockwood took off after her as Lucy ran for her life.
Grace dropped to her knees and stuck her hand in the rocks scratching up her knuckles as she yanked out the source. Well, the woman bones. Instead, she just tossed the iron net on them. Too many to take out before Lucy gets hurt.
"Thanks, Gracie," She smiled and sealed it away. Grace looked back watching Lockwood help Lucy up. "Glad to see you care for people other than me." She smiled. Grace sighed reaching her hand out as she helped Flo up.
"Is that Locky's girlfriend?" Flo asked and Grace glared at her.
For all the crap she's been giving me and she says that.
"No," She snapped.
"What happened?" Lucy breathed.
"I did," Flo announced. "Evening Locky." Lockwood and Lucy turned around taking in Flo's appearance.
"Locky?" Grace mocked giving Lockwood a smirk. He just shook his head. Grace was going to use that more often.
"Whose this?" Flo asked gesturing to Lucy.
"This is my associate, Lucy Carlyle. Lucy, this is Florence Bonnard. Aka. Flo Bones. Best relic hunter on the Thames." Flo smiled walking back toward her bags.
