Chapter 19: Where Home Is

Benjamin's POV:

Everyone stared at me in utter bewilderment after listening to what Mr. Smith explained. During the rescue mission, Smith hacked into the cameras and saw what crimes Sombra and Moria committed against me. I stood in full guilt and shame, my heart still sunken about my virginity being taken from me. Surprisingly enough, Amelie looked more confused than sickened. 

"But why would they ever do such a thing? I understand Sombra would want something like this, but Moria too? Oh, mon..." she murmured.

I then looked up at Echo, tears flooding my eyes. 

"I'm sorry," I cried, sobbing in her arms as she hugged me. 

"For whatever reason, I understand they've done this to you. You were bonded with no control of your body, and if you moved, Talon would harm you even further. I'm glad this is all they did to you," Echo sighed, hugging me tighter as McCree growled in annoyance. 

"Those damn whores. I'd better put a couple of holes in their heads the next time I see them," He growled, unloading his revolver and reloading it a few times. 

"Easier said than done, mate. They likely died in that explosion," Smith sighed as he sat down.

"Good, those bitches can rot in hell," Amelie lamented as she sat down near Smith. 

As I sat down with Echo, I tried to process that those women had taken my virginity from me by force. But, in the grand aspect of things, I knew I couldn't let it corrupt me. I was powerless to stop them. Therefore I had no reason to hang onto this. My struggles with the past were already choking me enough. I had to move on, somehow. Echo laid her arms around me and activated her heat mode. I sighed, resting alongside my partner as the ship descended the ocean.

As we flew, I noticed how far we were from Spain and going North, not East. I looked over and saw Echo was recharging, so I got up and headed to the cockpit. Most people were sleeping, including Smith and Amelie, who were sleeping on each other. How cute. Spiderman was playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the ship's switch. He didn't notice me, so I ignored him and walked over to Sojourn, who was back driving the boat.

"Hey, Sojourn?" I asked.

"Wassup soldier?" She asked, keeping her eyes on the road... or, I guess, the skies.

"Why aren't we going back to Gibraltar?" I asked.

Sojourn looked over her shoulder at me before saying, "I guess the others haven't told you yet. We decided that Gibraltar was no longer safe as a base. Considering its small size and Talon's raided it multiple times, we're moving to a more defendable position. A more homely base, if you will,"

"Wait, are we..."

"Yes, Ben. We're heading to Switzerland,"

"I... that's amazing! But wait, what does the Swiss government think?" I asked.
