The night was still young and there was still a few matches left until it was time to go sleep. Some wandered in the halls while some went to rest in their rooms. One of which were Kai and Cole. Cole hurried to his own room as his stomach growled with hunger. Kai instead walked to his room and sat on the bed, taking a some time for himself, and to take a nap.

Kai's p.o.v.

I woke up from my nap, and went over to my balcony as the slow evening breeze blew into my hair. Unconsciously I looked over to the right, just to see the balcony door to (y/n)'s room slightly open again. I jumped in his balcony and slipped into his room. The lights weren't on, but it wasn't too dark to see at least. With careful footsteps, I made my way further into the room. I stopped upon noticing a sharp green glow in the middle of the darkness. (y/n) sat on the sofa doing nothing as his scar, which wasn't covered by the bandages right now, light up his face.

"(y/n)?" I asked carefully as the boy in question turned to me.

"Kai? What are you doing, sneaking in like that?" His demeanor seemed familiar yet unfamiliar as he walked to me. it didn't seem like I needed to answer since before I even thought about the answer, (y/n) seemed to know the answer even I myself didn't know. I looked at his scar, which seemed to shine just as brightly as when I saw it the first time. With a smirk I had seen him show me before, he wrapped his hand around my back and just as suddenly we were standing very close to his pastel colored bed. Without a sound I fell onto it and he on top of me. I looked into his eyes and...

I woke up, and for real this time. I blinked rapidly as the dream repeated in my head, each time being more confusing than the one before it. After maybe my twentieth time thinking through it, and the clear vision of (y/n) looking down on me from on top of me, I fucking lost it.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" I yelled and gripped my hair in frustration. I did not just dream about that. Not here. Not with him. And only during an hour or two nap! I rolled up and off the bed but before I could make myself any more confused by thinking it all over again, I noticed the clock. Five. Minutes. Only five minutes until the last match of the day. I had already slept through the other ones. I rushed out the door and into the rainy yard and headed off to the temple where everyone was gathered, or, I thought they were at least. Noticing the temple I entered was empty, I quickly ran through the rain again, and after around five more minutes spent on searching for the right temple, I finally found it.

"Excuse me. Excuse me. Uh, don't mean to block your view. Just passing through." I quickly said as I slipped past the other competitors, and to where the rest of my the team were.

"Sorry, all of these temples look the same. Did I miss anything?" I asked after managing to pass by all the other elemental masters before finally arriving next to Jay.

"Skylor and Jacob are fighting now, and (y/n) just finished his match." Jay explained and glanced over to the right, where (y/n) was seated behind Lloyd and Garmadon while watching the ongoing match with sharp eyes.

"What? (y/n) matched already?" I tried to keep my voice down as I questioned Jay.

"Yeah. I hate to say it, but it was really cool, actually." Jay said and motioned for me to come closer as he explained how the match went.

"First Chen announced the match between Master of Spirit and the Master of Sand to start blah, blah, blah. The master of sand guy, what was his name, like Lee or Leo something? Eh, probably not." Jay pondered before continuing.

"They were in a room full of mirrors and stuff, it was kind of hard to see, but there was a reflection of a Jadeblade in each one, and one of the mirrors had the real one, while the others were made of paper." Jay explained the setting as I ushered for him to continue.
