And so the rest of the team ran out and off to chase the noodle trucks while Wu and Nya prepared the Bounty.

"You heard our orders. Split up and intercept those trucks." Shade told the elemental masters and they all split up to chase after the trucks. In one direction, went (y/n). He glided after a truck heading north of Ninjago city. It was kinda tough, especially since you had ridden a dragon for the first time just today.

. . .

But with only a bit of difficulty, I managed to get close enough to the truck to steel it away from roads leading to unprotected villages. The sandy landscape had long since changed to a green grassland, and from there, a deep forest where I could hardly see past the thick leaves of the trees. But as it made things difficult for me, it made it even worse for the truck. With one sharp turn, I managed to confuse the driver and the truck crashed straight into a tree.

"Alright, suffer or give-it-up-er, I'll let everyone choose freely." I called and knocked on the side of the truck. the driver jumped out but didn't get far before I tied him up in a bundle of ghostly green rope.

"Alright, time's up." I said and flung open the doors. I could only gasp as the driver started laughing. The truck was totally empty. We've been fooled! I climbed on top of the truck before jumping off. The green dragon appeared under me before flickering away and making me drop face first into the grass.

"Shit..." I cursed. I tried again, but failed again. Time after time before I gave up. Not literally, but decided to take the easy way out; stealing the noodle truck. I nabbed the keys of the truck from the Anacondrai cultist and jumped in before realizing... I've never driven before in my life. What? I'm underage, nothing too special about that. Despite that, I carefully fiddled with the gearshift before placing my hands on the steering wheel. I pressed my foot down on the gas pedal, and took off. At first it felt scary, but once the adrenaline started kicking in, it felt like I was in a race against deadly foes. Dangerous, yet exciting.

"Everyone, message from Lloyd, return to the ninja's base." Shade sent a message to, probably all elemental masters. When I had made it out of the forest and back to a sand barren wasteland, a suddenly a green light reflected in the side-view mirror and I stopped the truck. I looked out the window, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I must have imagined it.

What if it was... No, of course not. I continued on, yet I had a bad feeling hiding away in my stomach. I couldn't let my thoughts get to me, I knew that, but the feeling made me look back time and time again until I could almost hear my heartbeat. I didn't see anything, yet I felt it. I felt scared by it.

"You killed me." You could see her in the side mirror again.

It isn't real. It's all in your head, (y/n)...

"You killed me." She walked closer.

It isn't real, It isn't real, It isn't real,...

"You killed me." She reached in through the window. I couldn't move.

It isn't real, IT ISN'T REAL! YOU'RE DEAD!!! You're dead...

"/n)..."

"(y/n)..."

"(y/n)! It's alright, I'm here!" Kai called to you as you started to regain your composure. Your breathing was quick, too quick, and your loud heartbeat muffled all noise except for the annoying beep in your right ear. You took one deep and shaky breath as Kai started smiling.
