Chapter 15

Yeeehaaw! I'm doing good, I hope you're doing good, and here's another chapter!

"Seriously!" Kai groaned as he missed the red flag placed high up on the Bounty's mast.

"Aww, just short. Just like your temper, Kai." Ronin commented as he fiddled with an apple he was holding. Although a second after a sharp green object flew past him, but only grazed the tips of his hair. Ronin cleared his throat as (y/n) glared at him.

"Don't do that, or I'm cutting your pay." Ronin called down to him, as (y/n) scoffed and leaned his back to the wall of the Bounty.

"Let me try. I'm for sure better Airjitzuer than you, Kai." Jay meanwhile told Kai, who smirked at him doubtfully.

"Oh, yeah? And when did that happen?" Kai asked as Jay smirked.

"Like, now!" He answered as he jumped up, an Airjitzu tornado lifting him up to almost reach the flag, but he fell down at the exact time Kai had fallen.

"Oh, yeah. That was so much better than me." Kai spoke sarcastically.

"It...it was." Jay said and crossed his arms.

"That wasn't Airjitzu, that was Failitzu." Ronin called down to him.

"Or Stupiditzu." Kai added jokingly as Jay shot him a glare.

"To master the powers of Airjitzu, we must uplift, not put each other down, Ronin." Wu commented calmly as Ronin took a bite out of the apple.

"You close shop for a week, so you gotta let me have some fun." Ronin spoke as Zane tried reaching the flag, but missed, much like the others did.

"Aren't Nindroids supposed to be precise?" Ronin questioned him before going back to munching on his apple.

"These new suits are heavy. Why can't we just use our old ones?" Kai complained after sighing.

"These are embedded with Deepstone. They will protect you from being possessed." Wu explained as (y/n) watched the three ninja practice from ground level. Why? Because even if he was an elemental master, only Spinjitzu masters could perform Airjitzu. Trust me, he tried, but failed horribly. (y/n) turned away from the ninja as he saw Nya approaching him, her expression neutral.

"It's been a while since we saw." She said calmly as Jay landed on the ground once again, but stopped to observe you two.

"That's right." (y/n) answered with a straight face as well. Now Kai and Zane had also stopped on training, and were watching as the two stared each other down. Kai opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, (y/n) had already cracked a smirk as Nya smiled before:

"Brother in law!"
"Sister in law!" The two called at the same time before they fist bumped, high fived, and faked each other out a few times before Nya erupted in laughter, (y/n) having a cocky smile on his face, holding his own laughter in the best he could. Jay's and Kai's faces immediately turned from concerned to shocked as Jay spoke up.

"Uhhh... Since when?"

"Since Kai decided to get married." Nya answered him, even if it was quite an exaggeration. 

"But I'm not married???" Kai said but got ignored as (y/n) waved bye to Nya, who left to go under the deck, after saying something about changing into her new ninja suit or something like that. The two ninja then turned to you as you shrugged.

"What?" It would have been a long story to explain to them, but it started when Kai and (y/n) started dating. Nya was very wary of (y/n), and wasn't fully happy with the idea of his brother dating a 'criminal'. But Skylor was smart enough to tell the full story of what went on in Chen's island from her perspective, and Nya started, slowly but surely, to trust (y/n) more. And here you were.
