Stranger Things: Seven The Secret Life

June 28th, 1985

Nick:
I've learned the words of how to talk in the Walkie Talkie, I was calling Matthew, Adam and Kevin with Walkie Talkie to go on a shopping at Starcourt Mall today. I've called them, "Hey guys, do you copy?" then Matthew, Adam, and Kevin respond, "Yeah, I copy." and I ask them, "Are you guys ready for shopping at the Starcourt Mall?" Kevin says with very excitement, "Oh shit, when- what time?" he asked, I respond, "At 8:00PM. Over." Matthew says, "Alright guys you heard him, 8:00PM. Over." Adam says, "Alright, Over." Kevin says, "Alright, be right there. Over." I ask grandma, "Grandma, Hi. Can I go to Starcourt Mall with my friends? I promise I won't do anything bad at there." Grandma sighs, "Yes sure honey, be careful out there." I thank her, "Thank you Grandma, you're the best." I kissed her on the cheek. Then I ride my bike to the Starcourt Mall.

When everybody arrived at the Starcourt Mall, there's a lot of people shopping which Nick's anxiety might be risky. When Mike Wheeler is riding his bike to the Mall to meet his friends, Nick and the others met at the entrance.

Nick:
(Starcourt Theme playing) When I arrived at the Mall, Kevin says very excitement, "Nick, CANT YOU BELIEVE THIS PLACE! This place is AWESOME!" I reply, "I know right!?" Since I walk pass Kevin, I saw Kylie with Matthew and Adam. I ask, "Kylie? You are here too?" Kylie says, "Hi, Nick." Matthew reply, "Hi Nick, umm..." he walks towards me, "Um, I'm sorry, do you want this to be only guys? Or.." I reply, "No. no no it's fine. I just thought maybe she can be with here us today." I ask Kylie, "Where's Max?" Kylie reply, "She's with her friends." I said, "Oh. Okay." We let Kylie to go with us inside shopping. We start shopping together at all stores. (Money Changes Everything by Cyndi Lauper playing) Later we stop at a New York Pizza with a Italy Flag sign to eat a Pizza. Since we are eating Pizza at a table, I hear a strange fluttering noice again in my ears, I looked back and I see Will and his friends walking to the Scoops Ahoy. I don't know why, but these fluttering noises mean something that's gonna happen later. About 10 minutes later, All the lights and power shuts down in the Mall. Everybody gasp. Kylie got scared and she holds my right arm. I gasp at her but I was confused of what happened to the power. Kevin says, "Oh C'mon! Don't tell me they forgot to pay their electricity bill!?" About two minutes later, the lights and power are back on. Kylie notices she's was holding my right arm and she apologize, "Oh um.. I'm sorry." Matthew, Adam, and Kevin were staring at us. I said, "What?!" I side eye to one of them. They stop staring at us. When we're done finish eating Pizza, we realize is already late, it was 10:01PM. We left the Starcourt Mall and we said our goodbyes, "Well.. that was weird." Adam said. Kevin scoffs, "It's also weird that Kylie was holding Nick's arm." I reply, "She was scared, Okay. Is not that obvious." Matthew says, "Maybe, now is not the time for this. How about we come here again to the Cinema Movie Theater to watch Karate Kid?" Everyone agrees, "Yes!" Adam says, "I heard Ralph Macchio is amazing actor." I ask, "Who's Ralph Macchio?" Matthew reply, "You'll know him when you watch the movie tomorrow. At 7:00 o'clock. Alright, Bye!" Kylie says to me, "I'm sorry, if I just made you uncomfortable.." I reply, "No no it's fine. I bet you have nightmares because of that." Kylie says, "Maybe.. well, goodbye Nick." "Bye." I said.

Right at Nick's house. He arrived and he apologizes to Doris of how late he was. "Grandma! I'm sorry. I know what time it is." Nick said. Doris calms Nick down, "Woah, calm down honey. I'm not mad about it." Nick says, "No? Oh well okay." Doris ask, "Want a Cookie? They're fresh baked." Nick says, "Yeah sure." Nick eats the cookie. "Mmm, these are amazing. They're delicious. Can I have the recipe? Just for remembering by baking them when I grow up." "Yeah sure honey." While Doris gives her recipes in paper to Nick, he ask, "Also, did the lights shut down in here?" Doris reply while writing, "Yeah, maybe is the poor electricity that did this." Nick got Doris recipes. Doris ask, "Hey, I have the Star Wars Movie 2. You want to watch it?" Nick reply, "Oh my God! Yes sure!"
