At the Roane County Fair in the Evening:

Nick:
Kevin and I arrived at the fun fair to look for Adam. We bought tickets for the games in case if we're going with Adam of where he goes. We found Adam near the Ferris Wheel, but I realized that I can't go with him anymore because after what happened between me and Adam, so I told Kevin, "Oh um Kevin, I just realized that I can't talk with him. Do you know what I told you about what happened between me and him right?" Kevin agrees to talk with Adam alone, "So you want me to talk with him alone and then I explain it to you of what he said?" "Yes. But I'll be with you guys, behind you two." Kevin communicates with Adam, "Hey Adam! How are you doing today?" Adam says, "Oh hi Kevin, what are you doing here?" He asked. Kevin reply, "Didn't you know that we promised to go here for fun?" He asked. Adam reply, "Oh yeah sure umm.. let's go on this one." Adam seems to be acting normal for now on but I can still see that he's sweating through everywhere of his body. They're seating in a yellow capsule, I was gonna sit in a green capsule but the other people got it first so I went to the blue capsule. I tried to listen to them but there's too many crowded people in front of me, so I'm just enjoying my time in the fun fair. As we are leaving the Ferris Wheel, they start to go on the roller coaster. I feel like the more I'm being suspicious on Adam, the more he's afraid of me. So I went to get myself a lunch from the food stalls. Kevin noticed me that I'm not behind them anymore, I give him a hand sign to let him know that I'm gonna be alright and just do his work. As I'm eating my hot dog, I notice one piece of white thing which kinda looks like a snowflake. When I look up, the clouds turn into red thunderstorm. Kevin sits down in front of me calling me, and I snap back to reality. Kevin ask, "What, what's wrong did I scare you?" I reply, "No, no no. So what did he said?" I asked. Kevin reply, "He seems normal to me. I asked everything about where he might have gone but, he never answers it. I think he might lost his memories." I'm thinking that Adam is avoiding those questions, I ask, "Where did he go?" Kevin reply, "He said that he's going to see the fireworks outside the fun fair with his friend." I tell Kevin, "Stay with him and keep eye on him." Kevin says, "Yes Master Jedi."

When Eleven was viewing Billy's memories in her void, she was trapped in a hallucination induced by the Mind Flayer. Billy spoke with Eleven and warned her that the Flayed now knows her location and that they would eradicate her, her friends, and everyone. The Mind Flayer controls its flayed influencers and bringing them up to Brimborm Steel Works to summoned them to morphed together into the Spider Monster to make itself bigger and stronger, including Heather, Janet Holloway, Doris Driscoll, David Thompson, and Adam. They all melted down into biomass and absorbed into the Spider Monster, causing their death.

Mayor Kline speaks during the Roane County fair's opening ceremony. *Fireworks popping*

Around that time, Matthew notice out of his window that his dad, David has gone missing. He ask his mom where he might have gone but his mom also doesn't know and noticing that the barbecue is burning. Kevin got distracted by the fireworks and admiring them. He heard the kid's voice saying, "Adam! You're gonna miss it! Adam!" Kevin notices that Adam is walking away from the fun fair. He notices a guy walking with Adam, he starts following them but only leading them up to the woods. Kevin realized he can't go in there so he runs back panicking to the fun fair to find Nick.

The Shadow Monster broke out threw the roof of the Steel Works and began to hunt down Eleven and her friends knowing they're at Hopper's cabin. They were viciously attacked, but largely succeeded at defending themselves, however, a small peace of proxy monster detached itself and bit Eleven's leg, causing her to be wounded.
