A story where you help Akito overcome his fear of dogs!

You and Akito were heading out of a newly opened restaurant that just opened in town when suddenly you spot a familiar light brown headed woman heading towards your direction along with a big fluffy white dog. Akito jumped a bit at the sight of the dog and hid behind you, making you smile sympathetically.

"Akito, it's just Minori and Samo-chan," you chuckled.

Akito scoffs in response and grumbles, "I still don't like dogs."

Once the dog approaches you both, it stood on its hind legs, and with his paws touching your thighs, barks at you to get your attention. You smiled and pet the dog gently on his head.

"Hello Samo-chan!" You greeted before looking at Minori, "And hello to you too, Minori! Wow, it's been such a long time since we've talked!"

Minori flashes you a huge smile.

"I haven't seen you in such a long time either! We should really hang out some time!" Minori beamed before taking a glance at the tall male behind you.

"Oh, and you must be this 'Akito' (y/n) gushes about! Nice to meet you, I'm Minori!" She exclaims. She notices that Akito looked a bit uncomfortable and shaky before getting flustered.

"Oh! I'm so, so sorry for startling you," she apologized before Akito shakes his head gently.

"It's fine," he replies as he watches you play with Samo-chan fur. He thinks about how he wants to get rid of his fear of dogs since you love adorable animals, but he doesn't know how. He sighs quietly as he hugs you from behind as a way to cope with how unease he was with the beast.

"Akito... Ah, sorry! I forgot that you're scared of dogs!" You gasped. You pondered a bit at the thought of seeing Akito smiling and petting dogs, which made your heart flutter. Suddenly, a lightbulb went over your head.

"Hey, Akito, what if we try to find a way to make you like dogs?" You asked him out loud. Akito tilted his head in response before you continued on with, "How about we bring Minori to our place? That way, we can discuss a plan from there."

Akito seemed disturbed at your idea and tried to refuse it, but after some convincing from you and Minori, he agreed. After that, you all headed over to your house to discuss on how to get Akito to like Samo-chan. Once the three of you arrived, you noticed Akito tried to bolt straight up the stairs and into your room, but you stopped him before he was able to. This caused Akito to pout before sitting on the couch in the living room, you sitting next to him, and Minori taking a seat on a different couch. Meanwhile, Samo-chan was walking around the house and sniffing around all of the unfamiliar smells.

Minori started the conversation off by saying, "Okay, so how about this: we get Akito to a dog daycare and let him stay there for a day. By the end of the day, he'll absolutely love dogs!"

"No way I'm doing that," he scoffed.

"Okay... how about we go to the dog park and hang around there for a while?" Minori suggested once more. Again, Akito scoffed at that idea.

"Too many dogs. Do you seriously want me to die?" He asked her. The light browned hair woman apologized and said she'll try to think of another idea, but then, you thought of a brilliant idea.

"How about we let Samo-chan stay here for a couple of days? That way, Akito can try to get used to him and maybe start to get comfortable with him," you said out loud. Akito pondered on that idea for a bit before nodding his head.
