Akito Shinonome x Reader [ANGST]

Warning: A bit of physical assault. Akito is a jerk in this one.

You were Akito's romantic partner of 8 months. Although you were his lover, he had treated you like a worthless slave. His commands ranged from "(Y/n), go fetch me some water" to "(Y/n), make me some pancakes." Even though he was a jerk to you, you still loved him, or at least, during that time.

You watched as he practiced dancing and singing with his bandmates onstage for a concert being held tomorrow night. You were scrolling on your phone, ignoring their performance until the music stopped. An, Kohane, and Toya decided to take a break by drinking from their water bottles while Akito was still on stage practicing his singing. At that time, he had been practicing non-stop for at least a couple of hours.

With a sigh, you said to him, "Akito, seriously, you need to take a break every once in a while. It's not good for your health if you keep working yourself like this." After saying that, you walked up to him and handed him a water bottle, which he rejected.

"Mind your own business," Akito growled. You were taken aback by his aggressive attitude and frowned. Heck, his comment even caught the attention of the other three.

"Excuse me? I'm your partner. Partners are supposed to care about their significant other and make sure they're okay," You replied back at him. Hearing you talk back at him made Akito even angrier.

"(Y/n), I'm warning you one last time. You better shut up and do as I say," he commanded.

"Why would I?" You scoffed.

Akito then angrily picked up the water bottle in your hands and smacked it across your face. You fell onto the hard concrete ground while holding your bruising cheek. You were almost in tears due to the amount of pain he inflicted upon you. Not only that, but it was the first time he physically hurt you.

"That's what you get for disobeying me," Akito yelled at you before turning away from you and heading back to where he was standing previously.

Before any of the three bandmates could check up on you, you quickly ran away from the place. When Akito spun around, he noticed Toya was missing. He must've gone after you. An had her hands on her hips and Kohane's entire body was trembling, not knowing what to do.

"Akito, why the heck would you do that to (y/n)? Are you stupid?" An frowned. Akito rolled his eyes at her questions.

"They're always like this. They'll come crawling back to me," Akito laughed. An then walked over to Akito and slapped him across the face. Hard. Both Kohane and Akito were shocked at what An did.

"You deserve it," An scowled before heading out the room. Kohane followed right behind An, not wanting to stay alone with the ginger.

Akito stood there dumbfounded as he stared off into space. Why did his chest hurt when he saw you on the ground? Why does he want to hold you in his arms and apologize? He wasn't even in love with you...

...or was he?

You quickly ran out of the place and into an alley. The heavy rain dampened your clothes and your hair was soaking wet. Your tears mixed in with the rain drops while you were still holding your cheek.

You heard wet footsteps heading in your direction. You flinched, about to run away once more, but then relaxed when you saw Toya standing there with an umbrella.

"Hey," was all that came out of Toya's mouth. He shielded you both from the rain with the umbrella he carried.

"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be with Akito and your friends?" You sobbed. Toya shook his head.
