Prince!Akito Shinonome x Knight!Reader

You are Toya's knight and meet Akito for the first time at his place.

Akito was meeting up with a prince from a neighboring town today. He wasn't too keen on meeting him, but he had to because of his father. Otherwise, he would receive a punishment, which he always hated. With a sigh, he looked out of his bedroom window to stare at the castle's gate, waiting for a carriage to come. When the clock struck 11:00 a.m., the gates opened, and in came a brown horse and a royal chariot. He got off his bed and headed off to the entrance of his castle.

The moment he arrived to greet the guests, he noticed that no one was coming out of the carriage. He was about to look inside to see if they were in there, but then he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see man with bicolored hair and gray eyes. He was also wearing a formal black suit that was nicely tailored to fit his body.

"Excuse me. I apologize for startling you. You must be Prince Shinonome. I'm Toya Aoyagi, the prince nearby. Nice to meet you," he said.

Akito gave a small smile before greeting him.

"Nice to meet you too, Prince Aoyagi. And yes, I'm Prince Shinonome, though I'd prefer it if you'd call me Akito. I hate formalities."

Toya gave Akito a gentle smile before replying back, "Okay. If it's okay with you, then Toya is fine with me as well."

"Sure thing, Toya."

Akito and Toya decided to have brunch together at the castle's garden since they were both starving. Tsukasa, one of Akito's knights, bought some sandwiches, tea, and pastries out to them.

"Let me know if you need anything else!" Tsukasa winked before leaving the two of them alone. Hearing the man's voice made Akito roll his eyes before picking up an egg salad sandwich and eating it. Toya hesitantly picked up his sandwich before eating it as well.

"It's really good," Toya complimented.

"Yeah. My servants make some of the best food I've ever had," Akito chuckled. He finished eating the sandwich he had in his hand before picking up another.

Toya replied, "Really? My servants also make some really good food. Maybe next time, you can come over to my place and I'll ask them to make their specialty."

"Sounds great!"

Then, they heard the sound of footsteps rushing towards them. Akito spun his head around to find the source of the footsteps. Eventually, his eyes laid upon a knight with (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes running towards them. Once they arrived in front of their table, the person bowed down in front of Toya.

"Prince Aoyagi, I've been looking everywhere for you! Don't run off like that!" They panted, trying to catch their breath.

"My apologies, (y/n). I didn't mean for that to occur," Toya apologized.

Akito couldn't stop taking his eyes off the knight. For someone who was a knight, they were extremely good-looking compared to any other knight he has seen.

'(Y/n) is their name, huh. I should get to know them,' Akito thought.

The knight took their gaze off of Toya before turning their head around to see Akito. The knight bowed to him as well.

"My sincere apologizes, Prince Shinonome. It would be rude to not introduce myself. I am (y/n), Prince Aoyagi's honorary knight. Normally I am here right by your highness's side, but I guess he was too excited to meet you and forgot about me," (y/n) chuckled quietly while Toya's cheeks that were once pale grew into a light pink hue.
