Jealous! Akito Shinonome x Reader + One sided! Toya Aoyagi x Reader

Prompt: Akito is jealous of how close you and Toya are.

You and Toya were chilling in your homeroom and smiling happily while Akito was watching the whole ordeal from afar.

"That sounds perfect! Then I'll see you at twelve on Saturday! You're picking me up from my house, right?" You asked him.

Toya nodded gently before saying, "Yeah. We can head to the arcade and play some games there. There's a new shooter game there which I know you'll love, so we should try that once we're there. Afterwards, maybe we can stop by WEEKEND GARAGE and eat some food there."

Your eyes sparkled at the plan Toya created.

"I would love to do those things with you! You know exactly what I love! I'm so glad you're my friend!" You giggled as you hugged the blue-haired man.

Akito watched as Toya hugged you back, causing jealousy to rage inside of him. He knew that his best friend was deeply in love with you and that he was planning on confessing his feelings towards you through a date, but he wasn't expecting the date to be this soon.

Akito sighed heavily as he thought about the two of you dating. He knew it would hurt really badly since he was also head over heels in love with you too, but he was too shy to tell you so. Additionally, if you were to date Toya, he'd hate to see you hug and kiss him every single day since he knows how affectionate you were towards other people.

He stared at the two of you for a while before walking away. He needed to take a walk around the school since his heart was pounding at the possibility of you two being together.

'Guess I'll just have to watch them on Saturday to see how it goes,' Akito thought.

Akito wore a black hoodie and had his hood over his head while waiting for the two of you to arrive at the arcade. It took a little while, but eventually you and Toya came. The both of you stopped by the shooting game Toya was talking about and played it for about an hour since you were so addicted to the game. The entire time, Akito was on his phone and pretending to not pay attention to you two. Eventually, once you were both done with the game, you and Toya headed to the claw machines while Akito followed closely behind. After walking around for a while, there was a cat plush inside one of the machines that suddenly caught your eye, making you smile widely.

"Toya, look! It's so cute!" You said while staring at the plush in awe.

"Do you want it?" Toya questioned you, making you nod your head vigorously.

Toya inserted a couple of coins inside the claw machine and easily won the plush that you wanted. He handed it to you with a small smile plastered on his face.

"You didn't have to Toya!" You exclaimed while blushing lightly as you took the plush off his hands.

"It's nothing, really. I just want you to be happy," Toya muttered while also blushing. He was trying to hide his face with one of his sleeves, which made you laugh.

"No need to hide your face! I think it's adorable that you're thinking of me!" You beamed as you used one of your hands to gently pull his arm away from his face, making him blush even more.

"I see," he whispered, still feeling a bit shy.

You smiled at him before tugging his arm gently and saying, "Anyways, let's keep looking through the claw machines!"

After saying that, you dragged Toya around and pointed out the claw machines that contained items you'd love to have. Toya, wanting to impress you, managed to get every single item you wanted and handed it towards you, making you smile with joy. On the other hand, the more items Toya got for you, the more envious Akito became of Toya's skills. He wanted to be in Toya's place and show off his skills to you, but alas, he didn't possess the skills to do so. In the end, you had two giant bags full of goodies, a content Toya, and a very jealous Akito leaving the building.

Subsequently, you and Toya went inside WEEKEND GARAGE to eat some food and drink some coffee. Akito observed as An teased the two of you by asking if you were both on a date, to which you tried to deny it. Eventually, Toya admitted that you two were, indeed, on a date, which made his entire face turn red with embarrassment as he said that. This caused An to laugh and point out how red Toya's face was, but after a while, she left the two of you alone.

It was awkward for a while since neither of you knew what to say to each other after that. Ultimately, you both left the café in silence with reddened faces. While standing outside the café, Toya decided to take a hold of your hand and drag you to a park full of beautiful flowers and trees, making you gasp at the sight.

"It's so pretty here!" You exclaimed as you stared at all the beautiful plants in front of you.

Toya nodded in silence before facing towards you.

"Listen (y/n). I'm deeply in love with you and I have been ever since we first met. I've never felt this way towards anyone else before and these feelings kept progressing to the point where I just had to tell you this today. So (y/n), I was wondering if you'd like to officially become my partner?" Toya asked while feeling shy. 

While Toya was confessing his feelings towards you, Akito hid behind a tree and closed his eyes, secretly praying that you reject his confession. In the end, his wish was granted.

"I know you've done a lot for me today and in the past, but I'm really sorry Toya. I just don't feel the same way. In fact, I'm in love with someone else," you said. You felt sorry for him since he worked up his courage to confess only to get a rejection in reply.

"...I see. I should've known," Toya sighed while frowning.

"Either way, I wish you happiness in your love journey," Toya said while faking a smile. He was deeply hurt, but didn't want to show it in front of you.

You nodded gently before pulling him into an apologetic hug, to which he hugged you back as well. After a while, you both broke the hug.

"Anyways, I should head out," he told you before waving goodbye.

"Bye Toya," you replied, waving back at him.

You watched as Toya disappeared off in the direction of his home. Once you could visibly not see him anymore, you sighed in relief.

"...I'm sorry Toya, but I'm in love with your best friend," you mumbled, not realizing your crush could hear you.

Listening to this caused Akito to become a blushing mess since he wasn't expecting you to like him back. He wanted to tell you right then and there that he liked you too, but he decided he should tell you his feelings another time when he was more prepared to confess.

After a while, Akito watched you walk away from the park, he grinned triumphantly as he headed back home. He definitely going to have a nice dream tonight after all that.
