Chapter 22

Reaching the backyard taehyung smiles . There jungkook is sitting on the grass looking ahead . Oh how pretty the boy looks with his slightly long hairs reaching his nape , his forehead having no wrinkles of worry , his eyes shinning brightly reflecting the slight blue shade of the sky mixed with orange hue of the melting sun in horizon , his cheeks being pretty pink shade naturally , his naturally alluring and soft lips holding onto that soft smile just to add on to the beauty of the moment , beauty of the princess' soul . Taehyung is so in love .

Taehyung sighs hopelessly as he walks towards the boy and sits beside him . Jungkook doesn't even look at his side as he knows it is taehyung as he says ,

Don't you think dusk is the best time of the day ? Sometimes you can miss sunrise but sunsets are not meant to be missed . The way it mingles itself into the softness despite the rays of sun and sun itself being the hot mess . The hot mess giving itself up just for the night to rise in peace . God the love they share , taehyung keeps looking at jungkook . This is the first time he is hearing jungkook speak things and he is awestruck . The boy seems to have a different kind of bond with nature . A beautiful and peaceful bond .

Jungkook turns towards taehyung and says ,

I am sorry if you find my talks weird but it is like this i can't control myself from exploring the meaning of literally anything nature owns , he says scratching the back of his neck making taehyung smile .

No it's beautiful , jungkook smiles at that and nods . Soon enough his eyes change the shine and taehyung knows he wants to speak something so he waits patiently ,

Hyung , he addresses and taehyung hums giving the boy his full attention ,

I want to know who did that awful thing to my kingdom , taehyung looks at jungkook . He knows it's a sensitive topic and he won't be able to deny the boy cause that boy deserves to know who is the guilty one .

Sure baby highness . I myself will do the search , jungkook shakes his head at that .

Not only you hyung , this makes taehyung confuse . Jungkook turns towards him fully and sits criss cross . Taehyung following him . Jungkook holds both of taehyung's hands in his a bit consciously and looks down .

I may sound selfish but whenever I do anything with you by my side , encouraging me to go on , praising me that i did the best , i don't know why but i feel weird and so confident . It feels like i can win the whole world with you by my side doing nothing but just praising me and encouraging me . Hyung i don't want to win the world i just want the one who made my life miserable and took away my parents suffer the worst . I don't want you to do anything just promise me that you will be there with me by my side till the very end ,

Jungkook has never felt this scared before , he has asked many people for many things but asking something from taehyung , being vulnerable in front of him for his presence made jungkook feel things . He doesn't know how will taehyung think of him . That boy has been trying his best for a few days to train him into a strong , independent person and here he is asking him for his mercy to win . Isn't it weird but only if he knows the condition of taehyung's heart .

Taehyung feels butterflies flying a marathon , he feels like the brightest in the darkest of the night , doesn't matter how weird it sounds but taehyung feels the unexplainable as he hears jungkook's words , as his heart concludes and calculates the amount of trust jungkook has on him . He just can't explain it . Trusting someone with everything you have takes courage but making someone trust you whole heartedly is another level of achievement one can have in his or her life and taehyung definitely can say that he won in life .

Baby , the address makes jungkook look up . Oh the innocence his eyes hold makes taehyung sigh in defeat , he neither can control himself nor can fight back the urge to kiss jungkook right then and there . He simply loses himself in those eyes but he has to speak . So he says ,

I today promise you that i will do anything , like literally anything that makes you feel confident , doesn't matter if it takes me to go over board . You just keep moving forward , i promise to be by your side every second of the day , jungkook smiles . The smile of relief , gratefulness and trust that taehyung will cherish for the rest of his life . Pulling the boy closer , he delivers a kiss on his forehead which makes jungkook to close his eyes to take in the affection unknown of the fact that his heart has started opening it's doors for taehyung to get in and rule over .

Later that night :-

Everyone is present there at the dinning table along with the royals of Kingdom Amaris . Taehyung and Jiwoo are sitting side by side and opposite to them is jungkook beside jin . It is the official dinner arranged by taehyung's parents .

Jungkook already knew about the same but his heart keeps sinking to the bottom as long as he sees the two being happy and giggly with each other . He has no idea why he feels this way but the proximity they share makes him sad .

To any bare eye , their proximity , their actions are nothing but a pure bond of friendship but when you know the official bond they share , the official relation they have , your eyes change it's perspective to being romantic . Though giving each other high fives , laughing , bumping fists and giving playful smacks doesn't fall under romantic category but to jungkook the couple is simply throwing couple goals in his way and for the first time , he is jealous without even him knowing .

That adorable pout he has throughout the dinner doesn't go unnoticed by taehyung whose attention is totally on jungkook . He chuckles to himself loving the way younger is being all jealous without himself knowing .

After dinner , jungkook goes to his room and Jiwoo goes somewhere as for taehyung , he walks with his dad and his both hyungs to discuss something important .

Jiwoo knocks on the door and waits until yoongi opens it . She smiles and greets him . Yoongi being shocked , bows to the princess and asks her to come inside . She walks inside and settles on the couch while he sits on the bed  , asking ,

How come you are here princess ? The question makes Jiwoo smile .

Taehyung told me about your insecurities regarding him loving jungkook and being engaged to me so i came here myself to clear things up . Yoongi-shii there was nothing in between us since start . He was never more than a best friend to me and that will always stay like this only . We got engaged just because our parents wanted us to but i have never seen him so in love . He loves jungkook a lot . Like he can do literally anything for him , he can fight the whole world just for him and trust me when i say this jungkook is the luckiest to get that love from taehyung . So rest assured there is nothing from my side and I have set him free to love jungkook as much as he wants , yoongi sighs hearing this . Finally his insecurities die down and he can rest assured now .

But he has no idea of the burning pain the princess has to endure while saying the things . She is indeed a brave princess , just one of a kind .
