So from where we are starting noona ? Jungkook asks as they are all settled back in the living room after their breakfast . Jiwoo turns to him and says ,

You tell me first , is there anything missing ? I mean apart from killing the people , does any other thing is gone like some jewellery or money or any precious thing ? Jungkook thinks for a while . He then looks at yoongi who himself is thinking and finally says ,

No noona , when i came to palace that day , everything was at its place , nothing was missing and even the streets and shops were as it is , Jiwoo hums .

Ok . It seems like the purpose of attack was to harm people , not to get anything . Hmmm , so we will start with inspecting the whole kingdom , then we will search up the forest nearby . Hopefully we will find some people . You said that some people buried your family then there must be someone alive who has seen the event , jungkook nods .

Let's go then , he says and everyone stands up . They all go to their rooms to change into something casual and then walk outside to search up the place .

Deciding to split into pairs , they get into 3 pairs , Jiwoo and hoseok , jimin and yoongi , taehyung and jungkook . Going in different directions , they decide to meet each other at palace around lunch time .

Your highness can I ask you something ? Hoseok asks as he and Jiwoo are walking down the road . Their whole concentration is on their surrounding but you can't just walk along without talking right ?

Yeah , she says scanning the door of a house that seems to have scratch marks over it . Her hand comes in contact with the hard surface as she observes it but it halts when her ears hear what hoseok asked her ,

Are you really ok with taehyung wanting to end your relationship ? I mean see i know it's your personal matter but as far as i knew , he never once gave any sign of progress in that case but for you , i don't know i have this feeling that you are suffering inside . I hope i don't come out as nosy but it's just my inner feeling , hoseok stands straight , looking at the princess who has her movements paused .

She stands up too and turns around . The moment their eyes meet , he knows how right he is . The sorrow her eyes hold reflects the tiny amount of pain her heart is suffering , no one has any idea how much pain she is burying inside but hoseok does know . He smiles softly and steps towards the girl who smiles and shakes her head , trying to cover up but hoseok is fast enough to beat her as he says ,

You don't need to hide anything princess . I can feel you , she looks up again , this time her eyes not trying to cover up anything . She has no idea why her heart wants to open up to hoseok but she is feeling safe enough to let her eyes be wet with tears . This is the first time , she is letting her eyes get filled with tears in front of someone and it shocks her own self too .

It hurts , though the mumble is soft and inaudible but there is no one to block the sound , so it comes out loud and clear for the pair of ear to hear . Hoseok smiles a little and makes the girl look up again by holding her chin as he shakes his head .

Trust me , it's worth the time . It's worth the fact that you will be free and happy for the rest of your life . How it could be if he just couldn't love you . Trust me one can live without mind , thoughts and everything but love , You will die without love and hope , she smiles at his words and nods .

You deserve the best princess , he says as his hand comes up to wipe her tears . They both smile looking at each other then hoseok backs away as he says ,

Look what i found here , he says pointing towards the scratch marks he saw on the shop counter . She looks back and pointed towards the door , same marks . They walk ahead to search for more .

Hyung , why didn't you go with Jiwoo noona , she must be feeling lonely , jungkook voices out , eyes searching everywhere . Taehyung smiles at his concern and says ,

She is with hoseok , don't worry . Hoseok knows how to keep up the company . Besides i wanted to spend some time with you , this makes jungkook to look at taehyung . He can see the swirl of emotions in his eyes that makes jungkook sigh . It's just overwhelming for him to know that he is somehow able to read taehyung's eyes . But why ? And how ? He doesn't know .

Don't fool around hyung , jungkook says shaking his head as he focuses back on his surrounding .

Oh trust me i am not fooling around baby highness , jungkook feels shivers running down his spine when he is spun around and his back collides with the wall beside . He opens his eyes to see taehyung standing close to him . His breath hitch as he finds himself trapped in between those arms , helplessly .

Hyung , what are you doing ? He asks , all scared but taehyung softly smiles at him and says ,

You know that you are extremely gorgeous , like out of this world , jungkook's eyes meet taehyung's hearing his words but he just can't bring himself to keep up the eye contact so he looks down making taehyung smile . He tucks the strand of hair behind his ear prettily before leaning in and whispers ,

So pretty that you make me want to devour you right here , right now at the same time you make me want to cherish you in my heart for forever , he lightly kisses jungkook's ear and backs away . Jungkook , who is so out of breath , takes in a long puff of air in relief . He looks up to say something when his eyes lands on something behind taehyung's back .

Hyung , what's that ? He questions and taehyung looks back . There is lying a weird kind of weapon . It's neither a knife , nor arrow , they just can't name it . So they take the weapon and keep it inside their bag , maybe it will be of their help .

Let's go , taehyung mumbles walking ahead and jungkook can't help but blush as he replays the moments of minutes ago .

Jimin and yoongi are walking side by side observing their surroundings but jimin is bored . It's not like he is not interested in searching up the clues , it feels nice and thrilling but , yoongi , that man is awfully quiet , jimin doesn't like it .

You tell me how old you are , you seem quite a kid to me considering how loud and vocal you are , jimin makes a constricting sound as he stands in front of yoongi , halting his way ,

I am not a kid you oldie , jimin says hands on his waist , sassily ,

Then i am not old you minion , jimin's mouth falls agape ,

You , he points an accusing finger only for yoongi to raise his brows ,

Nevermind , i should have left you with hoseok or princess or whoever but me , he says as he sulks and stomps his feet walking ahead only to halt when he sees something . There is lying a horse , a dead horse to be precise but that horse is not the common horse you can find anywhere . They examine the horse and get all the needed information before walking ahead . Jimin doesn't forgot to throw tantrums here and there and yoongi, well he finds it oddly satisfying to irritate the shit out of the small sized jimin .
