Chapter 15

Let's go jungkook , it's your first day of practice , jungkook , who is busy drinking his tea , savouring it's taste , looks up at taehyung with a frown . The boy is standing up from his chair while wiping his lips from the towel .

What practice hyung ? He asks and taehyung can't help but chuckle . The admiration of his growing with passing seconds as he replies ,

To make you stronger , to make you shine more , jungkook feels things . No one has ever cared for him to the point to think like this that he can be stronger too , he can be the one to protect and not always the one who needs protection . Jungkook smiles and nods .

Ok Hyung , let's go , he says as he finishes his tea and stands up . Jin and Jiwoo look at each other and then at the duo before Jiwoo says ,

All the best guys , they both nod , jungkook thanks her and they walk away from there . Jungkook feeling all giddy about exploring his new self , new version .

Walking down towards the practice grounds , jungkook finds himself being all excited . He is all ready to train himself and mold himself into a better version . It's not like he dislikes his present self , no , he is just disappointed in the lacks and the flaws he has . Though he knows , one can't erase and modify all the flaws in him or her self but he believes that the flaws can be modified with time and he wants to give himself a chance to prove his strength and worth to his parents and his hyung .

He is so into his thoughts that he doesn't notice that taehyung has stopped walking , jungkook straight away walks into his back bumping his nose on the hard back . Taehyung turns around all concerned as he cups jungkook's face ,

Hey you alright ? , jungkook scrunches his nose in pain but that gesture only makes him look cuter and softer to taehyung who coos this time loudly and pinches his nose saying ,

Omo you are so cute baby , jungkook smiles and taehyung softly smiles too as he lets go of his face and turns around to see yoongi standing there looking at them with a frown . Jungkook looks down , he doesn't know why he feels like he is caught red handed with his secret boyfriend . He laughs at the thought .

Why are we here ? He finally asks as they are standing in the stable but they are supposed to be at the practice ground right ?

Oh , we are going to the forest . Jimin and hoseok are also coming and trust me they are way more good at training then me , i suck at teaching , taehyung says while scratching his nape in embarassment . Jungkook chuckles . These two can't have enough of each other .

They climb up their horses and start their journey .

Upon reaching the forest , jungkook gasps in awe . There the ground is all cleared with the markings put around it , confining the territory . The things they will be needing for the practice kept neatly on one side , a food basket on other side and flasks of water . It looks like it is all prepared through days but the truth is they prepared it yesterday only . Jungkook feels happy , special and more importantly loved . He smiles and jumps down the horse , running towards the duo standing there and hugs them .

Thank you so much hyungs , i love this all , jimin and hoseok smile , happy that their efforts are appreciated . They pat jungkook's head before the boy pulls away and they say ,

Anytime princess , jungkook feels tears accumulating in his eyes . It's been ages since someone addressed him as Princess . He loves being called that , he loves the feeling that accompanies that name , he loves everything about him being called as princess , it's the name his father gave him after all , he is the first one to call him the princess , his princess and since that moment it is jungkook's favorite .

Thank you , he again mumbles and jimin smiles before wiping his tears .

No more thank you's . It's time to refinish this diamond , are you ready ? And jungkook nods enthusiastically .

Taehyung stands there smiling to himself , he knows that addressing jungkook as princess will make him feel a lot more confident and energised than he already is and he is happy that he told jimin to do so . He loves to see stars shining in those beautiful eyes of the boy , it makes him feel alive .

Ok first of all . We will start with basics , hoseok says as he makes jungkook stand in the middle of the ground . The boy looks ahead with curious eyes , trying to guess what is coming .

Here , he looks down to see hoseok handling him a fake sword . Jungkook gulps and takes a hold of it . Hoseok smiles as he says ,

Look carefully princess , it is a sword , this part is called hilt and this one is blade ok ? Jungkook nods . So you take the grip in your dominant hand and stand firm , jungkook does as he is asked , now try to give it a swirl , a small one , jungkook nods and everyone back off a little . He takes in a deep breath and tries to twist his wrist . He feels sharp pain going up his hand as his wrist twists uncomfortably . The sword being heavy not helping at all . Jungkook lets go of the sword and holds his wrist in pain .

Yoongi who is standing there comes forward and takes jungkook's hand in his . Jungkook looks up with his teary eyes making yoongi sigh . He turns around and says ,

We are not doing this . He is perfect as he is and i am here to protect him what's the need to train him when i can give my life for his safety , everyone stands there in silence but jungkook doesn't like it . He shakes his head and wipes his tears as he says ,

No hyung i want this . Just , i guess i need some time , yoongi is about to deny when taehyung walks towards them and says ,

Princess , trust me it is hard for everyone at the start , people even lose themselves in this but for you i believe you will walk past this shining brighter . It's not like we are not enough to protect you but i want you to be able to protect yourself , to be able to stand on your own guards , protect yourself from the back stabbing when we are here to protect you from front . It's hard but i know my princess can do this , hmmm ? The words and Taehyung's eyes shining with determination , admiration and belief make jungkook a lot more confident as he nods . He can do this , he needs to do this . For his eomma , for his appa , for his hyung , for himself , for taehyung and he will do this .

He looks at yoongi and gives him a reassuring smile before taking the hold of sword yet again . He closes his eyes gathering his courage , his positivity and this time swirls his wrist in a way that fascinates everyone as his sword's blade lands on the sand and jungkook stands there with proud grin as he sees the sand shifting by the impact of the blow . He loves the very first victory he gained .
