Chapter 25: a Centaur's Duel

(3rd POV)

Near a river, Centorea is practicing her Jousting. As she's galloping, Centorea aims her lance replica at the target and then, she hits the target with almost a direct hit and it causes it to spin as she stops.

She looked back and said, "No use. No matter what I do, I cannot hit the center mark!"

Riley came and said, "Don't feel bad about yourself, Cerea."

Ethan said, "Yeah. Even though I was having problems aiming ever since I bought things like shurikens, kunai knives, and throwing spikes, but I managed to pull that off. It just takes progress with accuracy."

Luis said, "He's right, Cerea. You shouldn't even be putting yourself down for not having better accuracy."

Cerea smiled and said, "Thank you so much, Gentlemen. You're all kind."

Ethan puts his shurikens away into his storage pouch.

He said, "Dude, what a workout. Come on, guys. Let's go get something to eat before Miia goes Dr. Frankenstein at us."

As they're walking away, they all decided to stop at Sizzler for Lunch. Cerea got a Caesar Salad, Luis got a tri-tip sirloin, Riley has a classic burger, and Ethan is still getting something from the salad bar.

Riley said, "You sure are fired up about all of this Jousting Stuff. And your Mom's coming, right?"

Centorea took a drink of water and said, "Indeed, Master Riley. (got serious) Today, I shall engage in an unavoidable battle!"

Riley asked with a sweat drop, "A battle?"

Luis said with a sweat drop, "So much for a parent visiting their child from overseas."

Ethan came and said, "Sorry it took so long you guys! I was having trouble with making twenty tacos with hard shell tortillas and the employees are putting more meat balls at the buffet!"

He put 4 plates of the beef hard shell tacos, a big bowl of nacho cheese, two bowls of meatballs, 8 baked potatoes, 8 ramekins of bacon bits, and a bowl of spinach.

Ethan sat down and said, "I didn't get the ice cream yet, but I will right after I eat the food that I picked out."

Riley, Luis, and Cerea asked in shocking tones, "ALL OF THEM?!?! (made disappointed faces) Dow!"

Luis faced palmed himself and asked, "Why?"

After we ate lunch, especially how Ethan ate a lot, we're making our way back to the mansion.

Ethan burped and said, "Dude. It sure has been a while since I ever went to Sizzler!"

Luis said with a sweat drop, "You should really pace yourself when you're getting food, Ethan."
